I bought the PowerPack program after receiving a Windows alert regarding a registry problem and found the link to this software from the Windows site (it says it's Windows Certified!!!). I paid $39.95 for the PowerPack, downloaded RegCure and ran it. Within one day, my computer was hopelessly infected with the Antivirus System Pro virus. So serious was it, that I could not launch any programs and the constant popups on my screen would not allow me to do anything. I would like to voice my complaint about Trevor Macdonald's Caribbean series. The contrast between what was depicted in the episode between the other island and Jamaica was highly biased. The summary at the beginning of the episode associated Jamaica only with violence and gun crime. Whereas words such as: beautiful, sandy, haven and an escape are associated with the other islands. My 88 year old aunty was called about Sky Insurance - we didn't know anything about the call as she has seniors dementia, and anyone talking to her would realize this. they somehow managed to sign her up for Sky Service insurance (she does not have Sky Service on the TV) - when we finally realized what had happend and called up to cancel it they kept repeatedly trying to sell us insurance on her rented TV and anything else that happend to be connected to the TV. Trafford was acquired by Author Solutions on April 2009. I signed a contract with Trafford December 2008 and paid for it. Since March they have my "PRINT READY" book with all the files for the cover and webpage. I have not received the pysical proof until today (July 6) and the communication is dead! We went to Quebec yesterday and we decided to go at Mc Donald (open for 24 hours) located at 1003 Chemic De Masson Gatineau, Quebec at around 10:30 p.m. but when we get there nobody was entertaining the customers. Purchased a 47" Vizio LCD 1080 120 Hz at Sam's Club 2 weeks ago and within FIVE days every 2 hours the pixals would fade to red then go back to normal. From the offset Charter misrepresented their product and services. After installation of cable service I received a statement for charges a week later, for payment of service not yet provided! There is fraudulent charges that I have requested, in writing, of a detailed accounting which hasn't been forthcoming. This company is a ripoff they sell used equipment as new. They also install used dishnet and refurbished recievers as new and try to talk you into not taking the lease, which cost you alot seeing they over charge for everything. TV was ordered at discounted price including free shipping. Paid extra for expedited shipping that promised delivery within 1 week. Ten days later, after numerous phone calls, the TV showed up at a totally different time than scheduled. The extra paid for "expedited" shipping was on the invoice, and the price was list, without discount. The extended warranty that was on special when ordered also reverted to the list price. In spite of all of the delivery hassles, my order cost $204 it should. This company will not give copies of any invoice.
