Purchased in Las Vegas, NM and after filing a complaint about them, I decided to also file a complaint in case this DVD went missing through Disney's DVD distributor. I purchased Registry Mechanic on-line in NOV 2007. I just noticed a charge on my credit card on Nov 2, 2008 from DRI*PC TOOS.COM 800-764-5783 for $29.95. I called the phone number and after a 15 minute wait was told that the charge was for auto-renewal of Registry Mechanic. I said I did not request auto renewal, and was unhappy that they still had my credit card number on file after 1 year. The told me they would issue a credit and remove me from auto renewal. Got a purchase for $2.01 after signing up for "free magazines" after my purchase of a used CD. I haven't gotten magazines, but I did get the charge. The charge on my card was " TWX*MAGAZINE ORDER 800-927 6427" I called the number, and it is an automated phone sex line. I called their customer service and they actually asked me for my credit card number, and my name. I gave them my name but refused to give my card information. Calls you from random and uses tricky sales pitches to fool you into agreeing to a magazine subscription, that you cannot cancel. It also seems that they will continue to send you more magazines, even after the subscription period has ended. Rates could go up, duplicate accounts could be created. I received a Bottom Line Yearbook 2009 which I did not order. I e-mailed Bottom Line Books customer service stating I didn't order the book and I would not pay for it. My husband's debit/atm card information was fraudulently used to charge $91.98 to DRI Symantec. Bank said it was some sort of software company. Husband had just gotten new atm card, withdrew cash from our bank (1st and only xaction on new card) and within a couple of hours this charge was made to husband's atm card.
