It is not clear from the company's website whether a subscriber can avail a 'SAFE CUSTODY' or SUSPENSION of service. Ordered the complete Carol Burnett DVD series on 11/20/07. Was sent an email by DVD Compilations on 11/29 stating my order had shipped with Canadpost tracking # with an estimated delivery date of 12/7 or 12/10. After several emails to dvdcompilations with no response our order finally arrived to our local post office on 12/22. It was in a Carol Burnett DVD case, but it is not the complete series. We had lodged a complaint (Complaint number 10638083) with "Dish TV" call centre on 31st of Dec 2007 that 90 % of the channels are not available. As per their standard terms they promised that it will be attented within 4 to 24 hours but till date (4th Jan 2007) nobody has come to attend. Company promises through advertisement (in the voice of Shahrukh Khan) that they give full satisfaction to the customers. Purchased a Tru Tech T-600 DVD/CD Player at Target in March 2007. Used it at the shore in July and then once or twice since then. Went to use it this past weekend and remote control WOULD NOT open the disc drive. The disc drive also would not open from the front of the machine. THIS DVD/CD PLAYER IS A PIECE OF JUNK. Target was NO HELP--over 90 days since I bought it. The company, Starlite Consumer, DID NOT return my telephone calls of yesterday. Of course, you don't get any one directly. My daughter and I ate at Aberdeen Applebees on December 17, 2007. The meal was good and the service was good. I gave an 18 percent tips. When I got my credit card receipt of my dinner it showed $10.00 more than what I spent, this makes me believe that the waitress gave herself more tips than I put on the check. They are hitting my neighborhood very agressively this year. A van ful of proclaimed god-loving kids pulled up out side our community selling newspaper subscriptions and making comments on how nice the cars and houses are in this neighborhood. Last year they sold 5 subscriptions to my next door neighbor and when they tried to follow up there was no answer on the number or a company registered in Atlanta. While we are gone, someone is setting our channels to to Spanish channels and setting the DVR to record Spanish events. I have complained to Dishnet about this and the best they can do is tell me how to delete the events, which I already know. I want the events to NOT be recorded or accessed from my receiver.
