My Hampton Bay Ceiling fan failed last night, just lost all power to the fan and light. I took it down this morning and took it to the Home Deport where I had purchased it. The Manager told me that since it was bought in May of 2008, I would have to send it back to Hampton Bay. Does Home Depot not own Hampton Bay Ceiling Fans? Funny thing is that if you look up Hampton Bay, it's only retailer is Home Depot. Home Depot has definitely lost one ex-loyal customer, which I am sure they could care less about. Maybe they will turn into the next Circuit City with there approach to customer satisfaction. read full review »

delivery was scheduled for July 3, 2009 between 1-4. deliverymen showed up at 1 with no mattress. Was told by deliveryman, mattress would be delivered at 4-4:30. they even called and said they were on their way. they showed up at 8:20. Called the store and complained, and man by the name of Joe just did not understand why i would be angry. Who likes to wait for a deliveryman. Purchased landscaping work on May 17, 2009 from Mr. Dontre Jones with a completion date of June 10, 2009. Work to be completed was landscaping in front of house, seed and aerate back yard, rock under deck, and sod part of back yard with a cost of $3550.00 for all work. The portion of the yard that we wanted sod on was quoted around $2000.00 for that part alone. My Frigidaire/Electrolux top freezer refrigerator is just over one year old. A few months ago, we started having problems with it--when we'd be out of town for 2 days or more, we'd come home to a completely thawed out freezer and a warm fridge. As a new ADT Customer I am having problems finding the form under www.myADTrebate.com with a ADT-5003. When the technician come to the consumer's home to install the ADT alarm system why can't the ADT service just give the form to the consumer on the spot to fill out and mail to the address on the form. Instead of having the consumer go to all these crazy websites searching for the form...to time consuming. Please mail me my rebate soon as poosible. We purchased a new Maytag dishwasher 16 months ago. From beginning it did not clean well and made abnormal noises. We had the repairman and the owner of the appliance store out many times. They said there was nothing wrong with dishwasher, it was due to "outside influences". I am 57 and know how to run a dishwasher. Translate: They did not know how to repair it. ADT doesn't monitor the system at all. The transformer they provided to us wasn't working and we lost the battery because of that. They couldn't detect weather our system was still working or not. I called them after three weeks to notify them about the failure. The reply i was getting them was bull-shit. I wonder how easy it would be for a bugler to break the system from out side and get into home, or what would happen if fire broke out in my house... They don't even monitor all these. Joe, the owner of Olde Boston Construction took a check in the amount of $500 to install a rug on my sun porch on 5/11/09, and he said it would be installed in two weeks. When I did not hear from him, I called and he said the rug was not available yet, it would take another two weeks. When I still did not get a call back, I called the manufacturer of the rug, Philadelphia Carpets, and they said the rug was in stock and should not be a problem to get. I called Joe back and he said he would check it out. I have not heard from him since. I have called over 60 times, left several messages, but no call back. AE Factory technician came to our home to repair a washer. He was unable to repair and needed to order parts. Our timeframe was from 8-12. We called eight times from 12:00-5:30 before anyone would return our call. When the technicians arrived, they stated that it was the wrong parts before they even opened the boxes. My complaint is with HCC Surety Group in Los Angeles, if you are a contractor stay clear of this company, their investigators may be out of college but they do not have a clue of how the construction industry works. I need to file a complaint against Center Point (Gas). They are robbing me blind. They are not advising me of any extra charges that they keep placing on my bill due to a disconnection. Bad thing about it, I can’t choose another gas company because there is none, and they know it. My invoice states "If service is disconnected, you must pay your bill in full in addition to a reconnect charge. At 3 months pregnant I thought that waiting 12 weeks for a sofa was quite a long time, but as we were assured by the charming manager in store (which has now conveniently left for another store and whose name CSL refuse to give me) it never takes 12 weeks - they just say this in case of some rare unfortunate incident that could delay manufacturing. I bought a Intex pool at the end of last summer and never put it up till now. We had a heck of time getting the ground level. Finally did that and filled it up and I noticed it was really wet on the on side at a small area. We haven't been in it yet even! I had a contract for one year with service America. Each time they came out they could never fix my washer the first time always took two trips or more. In march they ordered new parts for my washer which finally came in a week later. Service man moved my washer to garage and installed new part. He finished up put the washer back in my laundry room and told me it was all fixed and working. I asked him if he was sure everything was OK and he said yes. Our Charbroil grill began shooting flames out the front. We called customer service. The person at Charbroil said to take pictures of the parts in question and email them. We did this. And waited. And waited. We called, and they said they would contact us when they diagnosed the problem. We waited, then emailed again. It has been several weeks and we have had no response whatsoever. Whirlpool set up a repair apt for me with A &E to have my refrigerator repaired. They told me I have a service fee which was $98 which would be applied to repairs and deducted if I decided to do them. The man came and said I was NOT under warranty gave me a huge estimate and said he didn't have the part anyway it would have to be ordered. We had a problem with our Maytag dishwasher in November 2008, so we called Sears Appliance Repair. They offered a 1 year service agreement. The price seemed reasonable so we paid for the service agreement. I'm glad we did because the incompetent people they have working at Sears Home Appliance Repair have been unable to get the repairs correct. The insurance company is wanting to refund me that amount of my warranty and leave me with a piece of furniture that is broken and can cause a harm to son. The bed could collapse and cause severe damage to my son. I live in California and they wanted me to go to Texas to choose a new bed when their is an Ashley furniture about 40 miles away from me. I bought a 22 inch Craftsman Pushmower with a Briggs & Stratton 5.5 horse motor. I have had it in the shop four times. I bought a new mower so I would not have this problem but have had nothing but problems. I am getting very frusterated with the hole process. The cleaning solution holder never really held the bottle tight. I talked to 5 reps. and a supervisor at Oreck. I was advised that I could have the warranty service done locally. When I called the store they said that they would do the inspection but I would have to pay extra because Oreck only pays $8 for their service time. Howes and his consultant buddies changed their Dura mats to cheapen them. They ran off the people who originally developed the mats. From what I've been told they have angered customers all over the world. I even heard the US military has a bunch of mats stacked in Afghanistan and are waiting for Newpark to take them back. Thousands of these junk mats have been sold and replacing them will bankrupt NR. These are the same consultants who killed off Newpark's Bravo product line. This company should be investigate for their products. More and more contractors are installing this product because of its lack of quality and ensuing additional charges they are able to charge. My units units are less than 5 years old. Have lost 2 compressors, several boards, and leaking coil. I tried to contact the contractor (Prentis Alsup) he wouldn't extend the warranty and said they were not going to sell the product anymore. Tried through Goodman, followed their requested process and never heard a word back. Called them again and was told to get lost. Shamrock Paving removed exsisting drivewayand underlying material and did not install the stone material base to support the new one. Shamrock Paving ran short of paving material, lowered the grade of the drive four to six inches. Now water from the street comes in the driveway, I have puddling in spots.
