It was real simple. Replace insulated glass with broken seals--as guaranteed with thier warranty. It's been 17 months, trying to work with the Sales rep and the S.W. Regional Sales Mngr. for the Shield Family Products Co. Broken Promises. String us along. On 11.07.2009 I called Nedbank Insurance to register a claim for a leak underneath our house (that is what it looks like to me anyway) Claim ref: NED0952796. We purchased at full price teak furniture carrying a Lifetime Warranty. Now that Scotts Company has decided to close and liquidate their Smith and Hawken Division they will no longer honor the advertised warranties. We have teak chairs that are rotten and broken. Installed Onduline green roof sheeting on our new house build 1995. The impregnated black bitumen that is in the sheets, started leeching through the green colour within a couple of years, causing big splotches of black throughout the roof.
