Purchased a 18000 btu a/c LG brand, installed to the instructions. Ready to plug in a spark came out the outlet, 220 volts, tripped the circuit braker, called my electrician, cheked the outlet and the braker was nothing wrong. tested the cord was something with the connections. i called home depot explained what happen, I was told to return the A/C backto the store, refund my money. We ordered a bed in mid febuary the site said available but a month later recieved part of our order & had no info on the rest. We called numerous times after holding for up to 30 min @ a time and finally got a hold of cymax who kept giving these excuses about parts being shipped from japan & with the tsunami got delayed. Put we didn't receive any email from the company informing us of this two months past and nothing. When we called they would tell us oh yeah it's finally on it's way now you'll receive an email by the end of the week. That never came. Three months later we cancelled our order. I selected Allied Home Warranty this year thinking is was a professional company and with good service, unfortunately I was completely wrong, one of my houses in rental had a problem with the Air Conditioning on May 24 2011 and I called Allied to have a contractor to visit the house and do the inspection of the unit. Warning to anyone who calls Gillece for their "$99" deal to have them unclog the drain: They will say something is wrong and try to sell you on a huge contract. They will also try to get you to sign something called "emergency" form and disguise it as a convenience that they can start "right away". They have sent us 3 new batteries and the problem consists with each one. They give a phone number to call, and says we are experiencing several calls at this time. In 1989, I owned a home in Moreno Valley, CA. I had an ADT account for the full house security system, one day I had received a call while out with my family at a movie theater, that my alarm had went off. When I had gotten home I was told by the alarm company that they had to enter my home through the upstaris window through my daughters room to see if there were any intruders in my home. I was told that no intruders were found. Last may 2010 I purchased a Sears Crafsman lawn mower (Kohler engine) with a 2 year warranty. Two weeks (two uses) after I ran the new mower it refused to restart after cutting front lawn.
