After purchase and prepayment over the internet I was notified by email that I should not accept the shipped order until I had opened and inspected for internal damage. They said refusal of delivery was the only return they would accept. The trouble was it was sent by UPS ground and the carrier stated UPS does not allow rejection of a parcel AFTER it is opened. This contractor is responsive before you sign the contract. Once you do, however, he does not do the work when promised, doesn't answer calls if he recognizes your number. I purchased a Frigidaire professional range and an extended warranty fom Brandsmart in July of 2009. Over two months ago my range failed and started producing an alarm sound continuously and I had to shut off the circuit breaker to stop it. In February 2010 I had a salt water pool installed by Pool Pride Services of Shelly Beach. After only 6 months the IntelliChlor Electronic Chlorine Generator started failing. A few of the LED lights stopped working. I immediately made a movie of the fault on my cell phone and showed it to Pool Pride. Nothing was done for another 6 months. I decided that before the 1 year warranty was up, I had better investigate this further. I was told to bring the faulty unit in and in about 2 or 3 weeks I will get it back repaired. There has been a stain on my $2000 sofa for about 3 months. I dug around for my worrynomore brochure, but could not find it. A wedding and master's degree program got in the way of further investigation. When I finally called, they informed me that since I did not call within 10 days of noticing the stain, they cannot help me. I started crying because in an economy such as the one we are in $2000 + the cost of the warranty is a lot of money to lose, and they hung up on me. We installed Syn Lawn that we bought for our 3 small dogs in late October 2010. from Lowes. We were told by Lowe's that it was a great product if you had dogs. We installed this product in our vacation home. The area we live in we can't grow grass because of water restrictions. This winter we've had lots of rain and snow. I purchased a Mayer washing machine 1 year ago, at $624, from Gain City. This new washing machine broke down recently. Barely a year plus. Meyer told me there is a component fault in main board however the entire main board is to be replaced at a repairing cost of $360, and minimum lead time of 4 weeks.
