I have shopped Walmart stores here in San Antonio for many, many years, as well as anywhere here in the states that I have traveled. I have never received anything but the most courteous service from any employee, greeter, etc. with whom I've come in contact. I was very disturbed by some of the complaints listed against Walmart, including the admitted thief who was caught stealing (a 21 yr. old mother, no less) objecting to the security guard's treatment! I bought a curling iron in October 2010. I got an extended protection plan (which was a waste). The curling iron broke and it is only 6 months old. The cord is bad and the unit keeps shutting off. I called to have it repaired. It cost $29.99 to buy. They want me to pay the shipping to return it to Arizona and also pay for the return shipment.
