I was doing my grocery shopping and I was in the aisle where the hair accessories are kept. One of the pick 'n pay employees picked up a brush, brushed her hair and put the brush back. Completely brazen, uncaring that the aisle was full of people. Now there are certain things in life that we just don't do...and I should NEVER have to write in to report this kind of behaviour. Standing watching the employees of pick 'n pay I have to say that they are completely out of control and unruly. We were given a gift of crystal glassware (the Hotel Collection) stocked at Boardmans. We wanted to build up the set into 12 glasses of each type and have visited various stores. We find that the glassware has been marked up from its original price of between R49 - R99 per glass to R149 to R179 per glass. Buyer BEWARE!!! Orders are required to be paid in full. Store gives the appearance of being legitimate yet goods arrive late and are shody. You have no recourse as you have paid in full (when I requested a refund because the gown was going to arrive to late to be altered for the event I was told that there are no refunds). I'm a bit appalled/disturbed by a HEAD nurse's ignorance. I went to visit a friend in the hospital today and the nurse REFUSED to let me see her because of my "rash".
