Motor Repair Insurance Private Bag X99 Brynston 2021 Hi I have purchased a Volvo S40 T4 two years ago in which I have purchased additional repair insurance. I have since tried to make two claims from this insurance and both times they find some excuse not to pay for any repairs. My first claim was for Suspension bushes which their book say it cover's, they said its a ware and tear item that is not covered. I signed up for the Discovery Channel Cosmeo service at the end of March, 2006. They were offering a 30-day "free" trial, and I was homeschooling my son at the time. At the end of the 29th day, I called to cancel because (1) we were done with homeschooling for the year, and (2) we really didn't find it that useful. I was told at that time that my charge card was already charged for the month, and that I would receive a credit because of the cancellation. I left it at that. Shortly after placing the order, we received an email confirmation that we had placed an order and it included the total dollar amount of our order. This is the 2nd time that I have bought something online. The first was with Fredericks.com and they were very efficient and I had no problems so I was confident to give Sizeappeal.com a try since it is a Veri Sign secured site. Sizeappeal has thus far only sent me an order confirmation and they are supposed to send me an email informing once they have shipped the item. Well Point Pharmacy - controlled by Blue Cross Well Point has unilaterally changed co-pay amounts for prescription medications without Blue Cross approval. For example, for expensive prescriptions Well Point will contact the subscriber and state that the co-pay amount has changed from $100 to $200 per month, when in fact Blue Cross did not change the co-pay amount. Unless the subscriber complains enough to have Blue Cross investigate Well Point, the subscriber is charged the extra $100 per month needlessly and to the benefit of Well Point. Our air conditioning system, a 2 stage unit made by Lennox, is what we inherited when we bought our home 4 years ago. In each summer we've had trouble with it, having compressors replaced (that wasn't the problem) and the same for many other parts. In short the unit has never worked correctly and this summer is no exception. The interesting part of this is that every time a service person replaces a part, the unit works WORSE than before. I paid them good money for access to a movie that my husband wanted, that they stated they had access to the download. (found out later, whatever you type in, they have a download for!) As I couldn't get it anywhere else, I would pay for the privelage. They sent me a confirmation of the paymment email, but somehow the original email has gone! But I had saved a text file of the details. When I went back after the payment to the link but the movie had gone! I bought a new 2008 Mercury Montego. At 61, 000 miles the transmission started to fail. After the third service over 3 weeks, Ford recommended changing out the transmission as the only solution. The dealer helped some but the cost still came to $5946.81. This is not being recognized by Ford-Mercury as a problem and they elected to not stand behind their product. This is a new transmission design, and the dealer said the first service is at 60, 000 miles. Heres an ad campaign slogan –“ buy a montego and change your transmission every 60, 000 miles!” I don’t think many cars will sell with that. Do you? read full review »

I scheduled a carpet cleaning with this company on Tuesday June 6, 2006. It was agreed that a technician would come on Thursday June 8, 2006 (a pre-arranged off day). I purchased general liability insurance (paid in full) on my martial arts school in August 2005 from F.L. Dean. They wewre advertised in a martial arts magazine as a top insurance company for martial arts liability. I sold the school in January 2006 and notified Dean by e-mail, fax and phone that I was no longer in business, asking them to cancel the policy and return any balance due. To date, they have not complied. They claim it was sent to the insurance writer and I would hear from them. I want my money. I have been more than patient as I feel it doesn't take 5 months to complete a refund. What other action can I take? read full review »

Hash: SHA1 I purchased two tickets for "The Black Eyed Peas" for a performance at the "Wembley Arena" in the UK. Upon arrival to the venue, I was informed that the arena is a completely non smoking venue. If I attended the concert, I could not smoke and no facilities were available to smoke in-side or outside of the venue. If we entered and left to smoke I would be refused re-admittance. iPayment Inc. is holding $2000 of my funds because after a great 3 year track record, they decided I was a security risk due to some ridiculous chargebacks from customers which already recieved their parts. They told me they will have to hold my funds for 6 months in case another chargeback comes through. Despite their promise, another bogus chargeback came through for $700, and iPayment debited my account any ways. They told me they would use the funds on hold for future chargebacks. iPayment has stolen $2700 from me, and it took me 5 phone calls to even find out why. read full review »

I signed up for a three-line T-Mobile Family Plan at Apex Telecom (113 10th St, Oakland, CA, 94607). There was supposed to be a $800 rebate after 27 weeks from Apex (not T-Mobile). After 18 months I still have not received the rebate. After about 7 months I went to the store at least 3 times (about once each month). Each time they said they will look into it. I also sent a letter to them regarding this matter on June 12, 2005. As of today (June 23, 2008) I have not heard from them or receive any communication regarding the rebate. read full review »

I showed them different price points to see what they wanted and they chose the arrangement they wanted. I delivered and set up this wedding personally. I recently ordered a piece of jewelry which was sent to me via UPS. The package arrived on time. When I opened it, all the paperwork was in there, but there wasn't any jewelry. An inspection of the package revealed that the postage had been ripped off of the original package and taped onto the package I received. Called Sears 5:00 am on 5/5/09 for service on our water heater because no hot water. Sears sent service technician out on 5/6/09. Technician left without repairing heater because did not have the parts, which will take 4 days to receive. So we, a family of 8 including 4 children will have to bath with cold water for 4 days. Called Sears Service center to complain, but was transfered twice, finally ending to a recorded voice message. We purchase all our appliances from Sears. I purchased a Bissell vacuum and within 3 weeks the cord showed signs of wear. After contacting Bissell they instructed me to take it to a local repair shop for inpsection. The repair shop informed me that it was a vacuum purchased from a "big box store and junk, what did I expect." I reported this to Bissell and also informed them that the local repair store said they will not cover it under warranty it was caused by running over the cord. Found out material they are selling can be found for free elswhere. When I told them I wanted a refund they said to send material back and 7 or so days later they would refund the money. That was over a month ago. I have heard all different manner of excuses but no supervisor is ever available and never do they return messages. The customer service is terrible and further investigation into their company revealed hundreds of dissatisfied customers. Constant calls from 1-800-818-1582, 5 in one hour. called back talked to Michael, who was abrasive and demanded my name, but finally admiited that he could look up the phone number he was calling. Then gave me a name and address that I could not verify with the phone Company. It appears that they are blind dialing cell phones via computer dialers, Michael verified the use of dialers. He says that his supervisor Vincent is not there when I call and that they are unsupervisied when he is off of work. I believe it's against the law to sell used clothing unless it's a consignment store. I purchased a three piece washable pantsuit for $29.99 plus tax. I did not try the outfit on as usual when I make a purchase @ any store. When I got home and took it out of the bag, it was very ovious that it had been washed because a stain was on the white pants. On Tuesday May 5, 2009, I had the opportunity to visit store #8830 to purchase my son a gift. Once we picked a toy, the salesman (Amohd) was great. He gave us an opportunity to test the New Powering Scooter (845423002107) out, which was great. He assisted me to the checkout counter. The cahier was also great and polite. I asked her did they offer military discount. Being that she was unfamiliar with it, she then asked the manager on duty (JJ). Over the walkie talkie he responded "yeah if they work for toys r us and in the military". That comment was inappropriate and unprofessional of him. I will never us FedEx again. Sony sent a package to my house with a tracking number to be delivered on a certain date. I checked in the morning and the package was to be delivered by 3 pm. I waited all day. When I called at three, I was told that the driver could not enter the apartment complex. We have a box at the front gate with our names. I have hosted over 24 websites with this company for over two years and have had the absolute worst server performance imaginable... below 80% And they have no customer service phone number... only a single live chat which is unavailable half the time. This company's services are cheap... but definitely NOT worth it! Pay a little more somewhere else... it will save you stress and money later. You ask why haven't I left sooner?
