CIC FreeCreditReport.com
efchellion December 17, 2008
In March 2008 I registered at freecreditreport.com to obtain my "FREE" credit report. The company requires a Credit Card or Debit Card number before they will issue your report. The Second I was finished with the site I called their customer service line (as the website stated) to cancle my account so that I would not be billed. The account was cancled according to the rep and the call was ended. December 2008 I noticed a $14.95 charge in my bank statement from CIC. I googled the company as it was listed on my Bank account. I proceeded... read full review »

Hughes Network Systems - Hughesnet
jeffmkenn December 17, 2008
I have been a Hughes customer for several years now. I have never called for support and have paid my bill on time every time. I just discovered that the home service offered to new customers has a download speed of 1.0 mbps. My home service is only 700 kbps. The price is the same but the new customers get a better service. I understand that my modem needs to be upgraded to a HN7000S to get faster speeds and I don't have a problem with that. The problem is that I was told that I would have to upgrade to the Pro plan and $69.99 to get that... read full review »

I then called back less tha an hour later to cancel and they gave me a line that te order had already been processed and could not be cancelled as I would have to receive it forst and then... read full review »

Mad Guy December 17, 2008
Thought I would update my continuing harassment by this company. I sent them an email through their website feedback form telling them to stop calling me, so they called me SEVEN TIMES the next morning!!! Since they were calling my home phone number, which is on the do not call list, I reported the events to the appropriate government agency. Didn't hear from them for two weeks (they insisted that they were going to take our information off their records) and yesterday they started calling me again! Why ANYONE would use a company that... read full review »

SafetyPro
Terry December 17, 2008
I saw the job add in the pennysaver for corona, ca. said that they were offering up to 4000/month for the management position in a local office that they were opening within 30-90 days. they set up an interview the same day, filled out the application, and she hired me on the spot and charging me a 'registration fee' of $60.00 and then the first day of training they wanted $99.00 for the 'kit fee' which would be 'refunded upon becoming a manager'... they are full of BS!! Someone i know told me that it was a scam so i am going to get my money back or i WILL take legal action.. STAY AWAY FROM SAFETY PRO!! read full review »

New Link Network
Bobby December 17, 2008
Our local MN telephone company representative noticed the additional $49.95 fee on our local phone bill. She called to sak if it was authorized. Being a small corporation, we have not audited the local phone bills as the total cost is very consistent. The billing has been there for the past six months. New Link Network bills through a third party billing company, ILD Telecommunications, Inc. The ILD operator was very courteous and has blocked 888-303-8674 from being added to our phone bill. New Link Network does not answer their phone. No one here has authorized the billing. read full review »

Jessica December 17, 2008
I placed an order online 12/10 and they promptly sent an automated order confirmation email and that's the last I've heard from them. The phone number simply rings to an answering machine and there is never a reply to email inquires sent to customerservice AT a2zhobbies.com. I've learned the owners of A2Z also run a site called thetapecompany.com and folks in the sales department work in the same building and accross the hall from A2Z but they claim they are never able to find an A2Z rep that can take my call. read full review »

I purchase a walker from babies are us in April/2008. I didnot use the walker until November of 2008 and within a month and 1/2 the seat which holds the baby is falling apart cracking and the foam is exposed. I contacted babytrend and they advised me that because I bought in April they can not do anything for me. I was told I can purchase a replacemnt seat. I think this is absurd as anyone knows a baby does use a walker until they are about 7 to 8 months old. so when I rec'd it as a gift. i didn't use it until it was needed. which... read full review »

I bought a custom $2000 Laptop from them in 2005 for video editing, it crashed constantly. I sent it back to them for repairs ( I paid the $35 postage! )... I don't even think they opened it!!! I was then in a major car accident and it was put in storage. When I brought it back out, I tired to find out WHAT I could do to fix it as the crashes pointed to a bad graphics device driver... well, there is no compatible drivers for this card and the manufacturer doesn't even give info out on this laptop. YesLocal Inc
Luke December 17, 2008
Yeslocal is a company ran by individuals that have never worked in the advertising market before. They have little understanding of how it works. It's main ceo ran his last company into the ground and started this one. They have multiple sales staff that completely lie to customers. They told us to tell customers that we don't charge anything more than the $49 dollar month fee. But they take as much as 50% of the customers advertising budget and pocket it. They also try to spend as little of the customers ad budget to pocket more... read full review »

Sharper Impressions Painting
Dissapointed December 17, 2008
This company does not even employ a single painter. They send out a nicely-dressed salesperson to sell you on the job. They even say that they will be painting the job. Then they run out un-screened "professional" painters to show up at your door. Alot of the sub-contractors do not speak English. Quite a few are not even legal aliens. Stay away from this company. It is not worth it. read full review »

Greg Blomberg Photography
Just want my photos! December 17, 2008
We chose Greg to take photos of our daughter's wedding in June 2007. In the package, we bought the wedding books. These are small bound books to give to relatives, friends, etc. It is now December 2008 and we still do not have the books for the second Christmas in a row, 18 months later.! Yes, he has been paid - what a mistake we made. He keeps promising them but he always needs just a little bit more of information. The photos were average in creativity and quality - although we paid a premium. If you do choose Greg Blomberg, do not pay until you receive your complete photo package or you may never get them! read full review »

When we asked whether we should insure it, DHL staff assured that there was no need to since the package will be tracked all the way with no chance of getting lost. Central Parking Systems
Oliver December 17, 2008
I parked once at Central Parking on West Dallas St. in downtown Houston. I used my debit card at the automated kiosk to pay for my parking. I was charged once on 11/26 for parking, and this charge was valid. My debit card was charged again on 12/3, although I had not parked at Central Parking again. I have called and spoken to Joe Walker three times, and have yet to receive a refund. All I am told is that they are "looking into it". The lesson here is to not use your debit card to pay for parking at Central Parking. If I had used cash they would not have been able to charge me twice. read full review »

Customer service is non-existant. The claims office nearest me closes earlier than they advertise, so one must play a cat and mouse game to get service. If one office closes because of inclement weather, how are their policy holder supposed to get in touch in the event of an emergency? Short and simple: We were swindled by these pinheads. In our experience, Kelly 'I Steal, Whatever' O'Neal and his gang of con men are nothing more than gutter thieves who will steal anyone they come in contact with blind. They are now so well-know as a criminal enterprise that they are resorting to posting fake 'positive' reviews on consumer complaints websites like this to repair their rightfully trashed reputations.
