Looked like a good email site selling a needed product. Wrong. The offer is for a disaster kit, to be prepared. A good idea in these times. The site plays up current disasters floods, earthquakes, storms, etc. You are supposed to get a 10 day inspection period for $1, small print states 10 days starts when kit mailed and shipping may take 10 days. My order from Hearthside was delivered badly damaged. It took over 2 MONTHS to receive a working replacement that they are now trying to charge us for twice. I have spent countless hours calling, emailing, etc. with very little response and absolutely no apology out of anyone. Some of the worst customer service of any company I've ever dealt with. Website was "buried" in an on-line payday loan application...when you say "yes" to the on-line payday loan you "automatically" get signed up for the Grocery Coupon clip and save website Grosavsc.com and you WILL be billed $12.99 per month. There is an ebay auction site where rfjunkie09 has posted an ad selling 52" LED Hi Def Samsung Flat Screen TV and adding Wholesale list next to the description of the item. We assumed that what the ad says is the price is of a wholesale list. We have been charged 1201.00 dollars and received a piece of paper with a list of websites. This is totally outrageous. The told me they sell iphones 3GS 32GB for 450$CAN, so I made a little research on the net and they seemed legit. After that, I sent them the money by moneygram(big error), after they received it, they asked for another 200$CAN for the customs. I told them I couldn't afford it, so they told me to pay half of it.
