Withdrawed funds in the amount of $94.89 after I ordered a cd-rom cd for the amount of $1.99. Called the tollfree # that showed up on my bank statement, and was told I was charged because I did'nt cancel my membership before the free 7 day trial period was up, but that I was eligible for a refund, and that I would receive an e-mail, with instructions on how to go about getting that refund. I never received an E-mail, and called back the next day when I was told to go to [email protected] and click on billing. When I did... read full review »

SNS Lamps
Albert March 12, 2009
We ordered two Tiffany Lamps on 02/24/2009, we authorized the charge on our Visa card, money was transferred on 02/25/2009. This is 03/12/2009 and we have not received the lamps, nor have we received any shipping confirmation. We did receive order confirmation on 02/25/2009. When calling to check up on the shipment no one is there. I pressed for customer service, sent to voice mail, I pressed for the Operator, sent to voice mail. Left four messages, but have not received a response. Sent two emails to them, have not received any responses. Very leary of companies that do not respond when they have your money. read full review »

CMG Insiders-club.com
jcs92075 March 12, 2009
I also received an unauthorized charge to my debit card for $83.88 from CMG Insiders-club.com. I googled them and found this complaint board, which then prompted me to look through my e-mails to make sure I didn't do something intentionally through a company affiliated with them somehow. As it turns out, I had an online transaction with ProFlowers.com for Valentine's Day and found an e-mail from CMG Insiders-club.com (AKA Freeshipping.com) and mentioned Proflowers.com in it. With that, I then went to CMG Insiders-club.com'... read full review »

I was billed for 72.21 on my credit card. I was not sure why. I talked to customer service and they said it was in the terms and conditions and also there was a 30 day money back policy. I received my bill on 3/1/09 and noticed this charge. I finally got a day off because i am sick to call on this and to my dismay it was to late to do anything. This kind of fraud i guess happens all the time on the computer and i have learned never to give my credit card over the web, because anything that sounds good is always too good to be true. I am very... read full review »

George March 12, 2009
I placed an order from directfromwarehouse.com and when my order arrived, it was different than pictured. I looked closer and realized that what directfromware sold me, was used. They sold me a used item as new at new prices. The items that I received wasn't worth 5.00 but I paid over $100.00. According to the FTC, this is known as internet fraud. If you have placed a order at directfromwarehouse.com and it was different than described then you should contact the coral springs police department and file a complaint at... read full review »

Some days ago I received an e-mail alerting me of a lottery win I didn't play in, by randomly selecting my e-mail address. I am a bit concerned about this, because I have submitted some personal information and I don't know if it's going to be used by these men by any means. I am from Bulgaria, if somebody there is reading this, please tell me what to do, so I can't be a victim of ID Theft or be involved in some other criminal activities as a result of using my ID. read full review »

Beware of the $39.95 platinum fee as it does not get you the special deals on Tuesday and Thursday. Also the platinum prices you can find everyday at NEWEGG.COM and TIGERDIRECT.COM And after you find all this out and request a refund..they will say NO.. One example is on 03/05/09 I was online for 2 hours looking at the special $69.00 OUTRAGIOUS OFFER they advertised that day and never seen it.. After I got home..found out is supposedly ended at 3:10 pm pst time. I was on at that time and seen it at $289.99 that whole time for several hours around it. No. It's not for real. Extortion at its finest. Three months after registering with 150 out of the 300 companies listed, I've gotten seven emails to participate in their surveys, each offering $0.25 to $3.00. Most surveys only offer rewards or sweepstakes which don't exist. I discount the other 150 companies because they are either closed, void due to dead links, or targeted towards senior citizens and children. Her site doesn't allow the option of reporting dead links. All surveys Gail and company have gathered can be... read full review »

TWX Magazine Service
Hal Dittmar March 10, 2009
In 1997 I apparently took an online survey. Part of the survey was an offer for Entertainment Weekly for $2.00. I have continued to get the magazine until today. I noticed a charge, posted a few days ago, on my credit card for $60.00. The name on the charge was TWX*2H4H0P* EW Mag. In 1998 I was charged $49.00 for the same name. Not knowing what that meant I did a search and found a lot of complaints saying TWX was a rip off. I found their number in one of the complaints. It is 800-586-2710. I called to find out what I was paying $60.00 for... read full review »
