I signed up on grantnow.com. I reviewed the information and decided it wasn't what I really wanted. I had recieved a confirmation email saying I had 7 days to get a full-refund. I called on the 6th day and was told that it was company policy that I could not get a refund since it had been more than 3 days. Every time I called back, I get the same indian girl and am told that all supervisors are busy in a meeting. I am calling my bank today to put a stop-payment on the fee. I am just beginning with a possible problem. I have placed an order with this company on Jan. 19 2009. Reverse Phone Detective is a TOTAL SCAM. They lure you in by saying you'll have unlimited searches for one year. Then when trying to do a search, they will require you to buy tracer report credits (at $9.95 per credit). I tested it on my own home phone (a land line) and it told me it was unpublished (it's not), but to find out more, I could buy tracer credits and they'd be happy tell me more. I won't do any more orders here... I've done many, and while they lure you into spending a bit more to get that free shipping, it takes forever for them to ship. Not convenient when you're running low on drugstore items. Then, within hours of placing your order, they make sure that you cannot cancel it because it is "processing".
