My husband just got one of those checks and notices about being a sweepstakes winner from liberty reward & trust inc. My husband called the number and the gentleman said that the check was real and he asked my husband did he shop at Home Depot. I received a letter from this scam stating that I had won $125, 000. Enclosed was a check for over $4, 000 supposedly drawn from chase bank. I bank with Chase and when I took the check to Chase it was infact a real account number but not from the before mentioned business. It was from someone elses personal checking account. Similar pattern to others who have filed complaints. Received pitch for 30-days free services to be followed up by telephone prior to any billing. Never received any noticeable service nor any follow-up by telephone. Next "contact" was "bill" which appeared on telephone bill. On contacting customer service, was told that service and billing had been authorized by phone by me. Recording of phone authorization promised but not received to date.
