I am being completely defrauded by Best Buy via an extended warranty I purchased on a 42 inch Toshiba plasma TV. I had an intermittent problem with the TV this past January so I decided to utilize my warranty and get it fixed (I should have left it alone..) I contacted BestBuy and they sent their exclusive service provider Advisory TV from Queens County, NY. Trend Micro has charged my credit card w/o my approval to do so. As a customer, I have the right to drop service. And should not have another charge tagged to my card just because some company has not updated its program. This is reason I fired them in the first place! Sorry Services! I would like my card credited back...$ 45.31 to be exact. And to top it off, I changed anti-virus companies well over a year ago. “There is no minimum balance or monthly maintenance fees on free, internet checking account.” I would be careful with HSBC Bank promises. I ordered shoes on 4/12/09 - my credit card was charged immediately. I waited for the shoes and after more than 10 days I called and emailed. All calls went to the answering machine (even though "Jim" promises a "live" person to speak with). I finally received the shoes on May 1, 2009 and they were the wrong shoes. Paid $1500 for my Select Compfort four years ago - first pump went out within a year. They replaced at no charge. Second pump went out six months ago - $200 to replace. Digital readout went out a couple weeks ago - included with the new pump and not available unless you purchase a new pump (wireless.) Mattress sags in the middle (dual chamber.) Why purchase an expensive mattress that you will have to start purchasing replacing parts within the first five years of the so called 20 year warranty? I have been looking into getting another rat lately and had heard that the store would be getting some dumbo rexes(type of rat). I have always despised the conditions in which they keep their animals, especially the mice and rats, but I went anyway. I found the rats, probably about ten, in a very small aquarium. I contracted with Charles to install a new pan in my stall shower(which involved redoing the entire shower) on February 26, 2006. The work has yet to be completed, I am not in possession of all the materials I paid for to complete the job, his garbage is in my bathroom, garage and backyard, and I have been without a shower for 6 months. I have found out that he misrepresented himself as a business, and is really working for someone else and trying to pick up extra jobs for extra cash in his spare time. After that they cancel my account with no warning at all. A gift card in the amount of $50.00 from The Gift Assistant was given to me as a gift (purchased from Cumberland Farms). I called to redeem the gift card (choosing Lowe's store), leaving a voice mail and they replied quickly via email on 02-22-2006 stating that the gift card will be sent via USPS. Approximately 2-3 months later I receive a second email stating that "due to an overwhelming demand, the gift card will be delayed". It's been 4 months and I still haven't received the gift card. Well Point Pharmacy - controlled by Blue Cross Well Point has unilaterally changed co-pay amounts for prescription medications without Blue Cross approval. For example, for expensive prescriptions Well Point will contact the subscriber and state that the co-pay amount has changed from $100 to $200 per month, when in fact Blue Cross did not change the co-pay amount. Our air conditioning system, a 2 stage unit made by Lennox, is what we inherited when we bought our home 4 years ago. In each summer we've had trouble with it, having compressors replaced (that wasn't the problem) and the same for many other parts. In short the unit has never worked correctly and this summer is no exception. The interesting part of this is that every time a service person replaces a part, the unit works WORSE than before. I bought a new 2008 Mercury Montego. At 61, 000 miles the transmission started to fail. After the third service over 3 weeks, Ford recommended changing out the transmission as the only solution. The dealer helped some but the cost still came to $5946.81. This is not being recognized by Ford-Mercury as a problem and they elected to not stand behind their product. This is a new transmission design, and the dealer said the first service is at 60, 000 miles. I went to friendly's resturant on Main Street in Bridgeport, CT and it was horrible the waiters were fighting in public about who was going to clean what and who was going to serve who, it was horrible and I ordered a steak with portabella mushrooms and they brought me a steak without the mushrooms and informed me that there weren't any mushrooms instead of informing me prior to bringing out my food.
