I went into a Chevron On April 16, 2009 and used my credit card to make a purchase. Later that evening I noticed they charged an autorization and was holding it. I was told it would be released in 3 days. Well almost a month later, they still had not removed it, so I was given a phone number where I was told to call and have them remove the hold on my card. I have been a customer for a long time at Carl's Jr. I went in on 5/7/2009 at @ 9:30 at night and ordered a #1 famous star. I got home and the burger did not have cheese on it. When we went to get our food in the drive thru the woman at the window was so rude barely acknowledging that we were there. My tea was bitter and I asked for a new drink and she became hateful. We asked to speak to a manager and she stated that she was a manager. When we asked there was another manager on duty we were given a male manager that did not even offer his name. I am receiving an illegal unauthorized subscription of the O-magazine and now receiving an invoice from the Hearst Corporation. There is no number or contact information to ask questions. All they want is a payment. I have gone to the O-magazine and canceled this subscription which I never authorized. I would urge everyone to also contact your bank. I did and I have this company under investigation. With their freud information hotline I was able to find out that this company is not even in the US. They are from Great Britain. So good luck for those trying to get a direct refund. Also, their call center is in the Phillipines, (1-877-208-6571) . I feel sorry for these customer reps who are getting slammed for apologizing for these crooks. I made a payment on my account online through their website. I was going out of town for 2 weeks for a vacation and made the payment one day before my statement date. They applied that payment to my previous statement period (which I had already paid). So now there are 2 payments for that statement period and I was charged a 39 dollar late fee for the current statement. In other words I was charged a late fee for paying early.
