I requested a pay day loan but was unaware of this service. They withdrew $17.97 from my bank account without my permission. When I called on 5/6/09 and questioned the transaction. The response was that I had 10 days to cancel. The date of my loan inquiry was 4/5/09. I just received my bank statement and noticed the unauthorized transaction. Again, I called them on 5/6/09 and explained all of the above information. The representative cancelled future billings (# 3582650) but would not authorize a refund to my account. I was told that I signed for this services when I applied for a Last Chance Payday Loan in Jan 2008. I told them it was an ERROR so they cancelled my account. I paid $85 for a bear and some balloons to be delivered to a friend of mine for his birthday. He says he gets a FedEx box with a little bear and some chocolates. No balloons attached. I called the 800-247-4929 to see what happened and was told to call back later because customer service hadn't showed up. The letter stated that I owed CRC of Delray Beach, an apparent magazine service company, $759 for a past magazine account. I hate companies that do this!!! I NEVER agreed to monthly shipments, and I can't find a number to call to cancel these. I returned a shipment about a month ago. I called 866-882-1281 and I spoke to a lady named Lindsey really nice she cancelled my account and gave me the address and the refund number to send the "free trail" back. AT&T broadband connection has been very slow since the start of service. A year ago, AT&T convinced us to upgrade the router and the speed range, but this did not lead to improvement, not even with new computers. 10 days ago I spent an hour on the phone dealing with the service's support people, who checked the speed and acknowledged that it is "ridiculous" (in their own words) - it was 4-6 times slower than the connection speed we pay for. These people called and sold to my wife a plan (they tell you it is not insurance) that sounds very good over the phone. Well, after figuring out how much her medicine costs per month with their "plan" we saved a whopping $1.50 a month. This savings cost us 129.95 a month.
