In June of this year, a young man came to my door with a story about trying to achieve so many points to win a trip and an opportunity to start his own business. I ordered a magazine subscription (5 years, Country Weekly). The cost was $70, plus $12 fee. I have not received any magazines, the check was cashed almost immediately. In Aug., 2008, payments were made through these sites, and after a 1 day trial memberships, my credit card was automatically charged full membership fees, even though there was no access to the sites that they were billing me for. When I tried to contact these companies, using the phone number provided, which happens to be the same for both billing companies, I was given other phone numbers to other companies that had no idea or any records of the accounts. After getting an email reply, I met with this guy Scott Hawkins in a Cafe, he convinced me that he could do the work I needed done quickly. I payed him $300 in a check. He doesn't answer his phone. I called NSI, the provider of our extended warranty on our Frigidaire washer, due to the drum banging around. This was on Oct.12. The first repair company did not come out until Oct. 20. He said he needed to order parts and would return in a week. This company is all over advertising to call a eight hundred number to recieve free info on how to get started on envelope stuffing. they are supposed to give you 4 dollars for every one stuffed. The "info" i got was a letter with payment info on it to send them 35 dollars to receive the start up package. There is no physical address, or phone number on the letter. Only a PO box address. Hello, I was promised to save $2500 by Dia group or TDA INC. that they charged $690 of my credit card. they scheduled me for a phone call, which I never received. They called my credit cards customer service got all the information. When I disputed it Bank of America gave me the money back but got it charged back, saying they can not do anything more than that, and you have lost your money, and nothing can be done. We have been paying faithfully on time every month. But, somehow the way they have their billing system set up it shows as us paying early every month, which for some bizarre reason is not allowed!!! Don't loan companies want you to pay on time regardless if it's a few days early?! Consequently we have been denied the lower rate incentive! I recently went to my bank and discovered PVC computer club -which I do not belong to-has been electronicly withdrawing money out of my account twice a month. My failure to keep track of my statements prevents me from knowing just how long they were doing it. My bank will only go back two months. How can I get my money back? I canceled out of whatever they said I supposedly filled out online and they took unauthorized charges out of my bank account and caused an overdraft fee and are now saying that I supposedly filled out the forms and summited them and authorized them to take the money.
