When using Halifax International Payment System you'll need a Swift or Iban number of the local bank at receivers end. Can take up to 3 weeks for the transfer to complete. Halifax unable to confirm transfer successful until confirmation from the overseas bank therefore a long wait again. Some Halifax staff seem unaware of the transaction process and the "International Transfer Team" are not easily available. Overall I would advise using ay other quicker service as the Halifax one is very clumsy and certainly not the 2 days they advertise. read full review »

I ordered 2 remanufactured 500 cadillac engines $4935.00 in April of 2008. They sent older models than I ordered, they where not fully assembled, missing parts and some of the parts they did use where unserviceable or partially cleaned. I tried to call them, no response yet. The company who actually did the remanufacture? was Blaines Motor Supply Co. in Dallas Tx. A Goodmans GDB6 Freeview DTV Receiver review - I bought this unit to replace an ALBA Freeview box which suffered tuner failure, so was not pleased when the Goodmans unit failed with the same problem at just over 1 year old. When I complained to Goodmans, I discovered that they are really Alba Radio Ltd. The moral of this story is DON'T BUY anything made by Alba Radio, even if it is badged Goodmans. I've exchanged money before with Thomson and always been relatively happy. So, when I booked a hotel for stopping in on my return from holiday in China, I had no hesitation amonut ordering some Hong Kong dollars and Chinese yen. I recently purchased a Saeco Royal Coffee Bar from Ira Wood & Sons, Inc. The first machine was broken from the moment I opened the box and I immediately contacted Ira Wood for a replacement. The replacement finally came and it kind of worked for 2 weeks and then broke completely. I contacted Ira Wood and after almost a month of waiting they told me I would have to deal with Saeco. The machine is from a renown coffee maker. Though for a straight forward filter coffee maker it is quite pricey, expect to pay between 30-60. For this price and from Gaggia I would expect a faultless coffee maker. But has anyone like me filled the machine to the maximum and watched what happens? The jug overspills!
