I have tried time and time again to get a refund from these people. They do not answer the phone. So I sent a email. They repeatedly asked me for my credit card number and then did nothing even a month later. They charged me a 10% fee for cancellation and would not let me return the product at the location. On February 17, 2008 I went to Hometown Dental Group for a free consultation. Prior to going I saw an ad in the phone book that said free new patient consultation (includes x-ray and exam.) Watch display failed during 1 year-warranty. Sent it twice to Casio's designated western US repair service, once to them directly. Returned unrepaired all three times. I made numerous calls and never talked with anyone with authority. In spite of several promises, no one ever called me back. Watch is useless in cool or cold weather. My brother has been in the Marines for about 3 years and to make this short he attempted sucide about a month ago and nearly died and then again last night he attempted suicide and they just sent him home. In between attempts when he tried to get help his unit told him to "suck it up" and gave him hell when family tried to get him help. When I book the vanlines, I had the impression that the total cost would be $630.00 including everything. The representative (Edwin) never mentioned about the new cost to me before booking. If I were told I would not have booked this vanlines. I don't think this is a good business practice when the customer is not aware of the total cost during the booking. I phoned Sears on January 2 to schedule a repair on our washing machine. We purchased this machine in 2004 and purchased the warranty for an additional $200. It has been my experience that warranty repairs with Sears are not prioritized in any way, so I called while the machine was still working, just making a very bad noise. So far this year I have had none of my medical problems taken care of. First I have a thick film forming under 1 of my implants after cataract surgery. Unable to drive at night or read without blocking bad eye. Opthomologist says Freedoms criteria is too high to take care of this now. Hopefully in 3 months I will meet their criteria. SikaBond T55 required Trowels do not exist. I had to purchase SikaBond T55 glue because it was required for the Bruce wood floor I was installing. It turns out the recommended trowel does not exists so the warranty does not have to be honored by any of the manufactures. Interesting scam. I own a 2000 Dodge Durango and have consistently maintained it for years with few problems. Last week while driving it a "check gauge" light came on. I took it to be serviced and was told that the engine needs to be replaced. Apparently Dodge has a defect with its Durango and Dakota engines that leads to sludge. The driving shaft has begun to break apart as a result. I am upset because Dodge has issued no recalls nor have they ever suggested that synthetic oil be used, which would have prevented this problem. Biblesoft's PC Study Bible 5 is very buggy and frustrating to use. (I have the Professional version 5.0e.) It freezes at times, has access violations and crashes, looses "focus" that is, you can be at one location in the Bible and when you select another Commentary, instead of keeping at the same location for the new Commentary, it freezes all too often and goes way off somewhere else in the Bible.
