On 9/13/2008, I purchased a Linksys router, model BEFSX41. After 8 months the router stopped functioning. I have been getting my hair done every 6 weeks for the past year. It cost about 120.00 to 150.00 every six wks. Whist at a motor show my wife and I seen a used motor home displayed by the big company Wandahome. We deposited £1000 on the understanding that we tested the vehicle later as they could not take it off site. I bought a power washer from Canadian tire last year, used it once last year, stored it in a heated shop and went to use it this year and the wand had a bad leak. I thought I could fix it and took the wand apart to fix, there was as far as I could see no reason for it to leak, except it was from tire. I bought a used 2003 Honda civic as is, no warranty. Ok, that's out of the way. I signed the paperwork on a Wed or Thur evening, to return the following day to give them the payment. Culligan, PO Box 5277, Carol Stream, IL, is billing me for service that they do not provide. I used to have a water softener exchange service with them. The local Culligan dealer decided to stop providing that service as of November 30, 2006. My mother is 83 years old so I just recently started helping her in her business affairs. I noticed on her Discover Card these charges for these two companies. She did not know what they referred to nor had she ordered anything from either. The charges totalled $ 186.45. I will try to receive credit for these charges, but after I have read some of these other complaints I have my doubts about receiving any help. I was a customer today in this Wal-mart and was the vicitm of a crime that occurred in their parking lot. Insted of being treated like the victim that I was, I was treated like the criminal. I have never been so upset as I was by a store assistant manager who didn't see the seriousness of the situation. 2 wheels were stolen from my car and my car was vandalized. I tried to ask about the video cameras in the parking lots, he refused to tell me anything and even refused to talk to me about the crime. I got an online loan through MTE Financial/ Quickest- Cash- Advance site. Unlike most payday loans, which require repayment by the next payday, Q-C-A allowed you to make repayment installments each payday. Just a question: When a charge takes mere seconds to show up why then does a tranfer of funds take days to be credited? There seems to be a systematic policy of delaying credits so that interest will continue to accrue. In the man time, a charge will show up within minutes. Company's dedicated customer service numbers are completely automated. There is no way to speak to a representative. Numbers are busy with no option to leave a call back number. On line dispute reuires a two-digit ID number which appears nowhere. They were previously sued for failing to provide reasonable access as required by the FCRA, but it appears they've done nothing to change that. Sparketts water made adjustments on my water bill (my water was increased by 3 times what it was originally) but they failed to notify me until after I received a months worth of water. As of today we are still waiting for our sixth visit from a Sears Technician to fix our Kenmore refrigerator. We have been without our refrigerator for six weeks. The customer service center is obtuse. They don't communicate very well, nor do they seem to have any record of your call history. Check in too over 3 hours. The rooms were dirty, never cleaned, towels looked & felt like car towels, fumes from paint, glue & who knows. Dresser drwers were lined with saw dust & smelt of paint fumes & your clothes were immediatley covered in dust & smelt like paint.
