I bid on a book advertised on the eBay, and subsequently won the bid. I paid for it with my credit card through PayPal, on January 16th. When some time later I have not received the book, I sent a message to the seller, who, to my surprise, replied with the following, "You bid on 0 of my items." I sent a few emails to both eBay and PayPal, to no avail. They just kept suggesting to talk to the seller. That made no sense to me, since the seller already denies my bidding, so what's the point of talking to them? Only after I sent an... read full review »

Upstate Nissan of Anderson, SC
February 11, 2008
I have a one year old Nissan Sentra around 18000 miles. A sensor light came on the dash of my car. I called the local Nissan Dealership to ask how to reset the light. I was told to put 35 pounds of pressure in my tires and if the light did not go out bring into the dealership. I had my tires inflated to correct pounds of pressure but light would not go out. I carried the vehicle into the dealership for further diagnosis. The dealer drove my car out of my sight and returned in two minutes with the light off. He handed me a bill for $42.00... read full review »

National Real Estate Investors (NRI)
February 11, 2008
I went to a "free" sales pitch in San Diego 2 years ago, and James Smith was one of the speakers. I was very impressed with his talk and I signed up for his 3-day Real Estate seminar, with coaching, for $6000. The seminar itself wasn't bad although it was overpriced. But there was an upsell to their "Platinum" program with more seminars and the great "M5" conference for only $20,000. So I signed up for that. Also at the seminar Darel Snyder and PSI Group, a close friend of James Smith, was selling his Phoenix Condo... read full review »

I ordered a pet carrier through this company. It took 2 months to ship, and then was returned to the company. I emailed their company to let them know of the wasted time and effort put forth and this was my response: "Where's the RMA number please for the return? We don't recognize packages shipped goodness knows where outside the return policy. Also, if you work, then get someone else to sign or sign the waiver like everyone else. It's not brain science and clearly spelled out on the site and the order confirmation. read full review »

Liberty Fun Pass
February 11, 2008
This is another company that was sold to me over the phone. I don't know for sure if it was a sales rep from the company or a contracted telemarketing firm. They had enough information that it was a warm call. I never gave them my card number, but somehow, my "risk-free trial" became a paid charge on my bank card. I am in the process of demanding my money back from Liberty Fun Pass. This is twice for me. I am finding that these sales companies are getting card numbers from some source. I strongly suggest contacting your... read full review »

Wu-Yi Source Tea
February 11, 2008
I ordered the tea and was charged 37.00 for a 60 day supply. Which was fine since I didn't want to go through the trouble of returning. However, even after I called and canceled there was a charge of 19.95 on my credit card. This was not authorized plus they did it after I had canceled and had paid the 37.00 dollars. This is ridiculous. They do not disclose this initially. If they had said that this "miracle" tea was going to cost 56.95 I would never had ordered it. Plus. they were sneaky about it. Instead of the charge showing... read full review »

I picked the car up on friday evening and it made a funny noise when starting but I thought due to new service could have been a problem.I took the car home and it made this sound each time i started it and it stalled each time that I started it.On my Monday I went to gas station and it would not start at all so now I'm stranded at the ga... read full review »

Free Credit Reports
February 11, 2008
per remarks in other comments, the charges cannot be rectified via phone or thru credit card assistance because of frequent disconnects and messages of "this number is not in service at this time". There are two numbers I've tried (866)-408-4016 and (800)720-4420. The easiest is to close the credit card account that the automatic billing appears on. Submit a complaint to the BBB and this site, refer this to a collection agency forthwith. read full review »

Team One Promotions / Kirby Vacuum

I purchased a Kirby Vacuum cleaner from Team One Promotions, after a HIGH PRESSURE sales deal. In less than 4 hours, I notified them to cancel the transaction after reading numerous complaints on the internet. They picked up the vacuum cleaner and I stopped payment on the check, however, they continue to sue me for the vacuum cleaner that I no longer have. I purchased my first home in October 2006 while I was in Iraq doing contract work. My sister was my power of attorney and signed all the paperwork for me. We found a brand new home in the Wildomar/Murrieta area with Beazer homes and I was pre-approved right away because of my good credit and income. To cancel future charges call 1-866-365-8654. MNI Reports advertises a free credit report, however somewhere on their website they say by receiving to a free credit report, you are automatically signed up for their monthly service--forever, and for me the charge is $11.95 a month. I want to start by saying that if you type Quantum, Red Line, Nova 3C, or any of the other companies listed into the search you will find tons, possibly even hundreds, of stories similar to mine and much worse. 21st Century Insurance are crooked and deceitful! I received my new insurance bill for my 2003 vehicle to find that my insurance had been raised $252 for 6 month period, which is $504 a year. I have been insured with 21st century Crooked Insurance for over 7 years. I have no tickets or accidents and have been a loyal and good client. This is disgusting and a number of other profane words. How sad that our government does not protect us from this type of shady business practices. Purchased two pairs of shoes. Claimed one pair as defective, the other pair was unworn and just wanted to return for refund. I am 45 minutes away from this place and was "lucky" enough to have to deal with them only because Allstate Motor Club sent them to my home because my car would not start. Though the car problem could not be fixed at the time of the service call, the employee was very courteous, invited me into the truck to sign the extensive paperwork--it was cold outside--and when completed I reached into my coat pocket to give him a cash tip. Seeing as how we all have the same problems with the same Mitsubishi TVs and poor service I wanted to see if anyone is or knows and attorney that might have some answers as to what kind of recourse we might have.
