Alamo Rental
February 7, 2008
Watch out for Alamo Auto Rental on Kauai. Week of Feb 19 - 26, 2008. They run a scam on extended insurance coverage. After the agent asked if I wanted the extended coverage, which I did not, and I initialed the 3 to 4 "I decline" coverage lines, and sign the rental agreement, they quickly swamped forms. I asked to have a copy of what I just signed, the agent refused saying “it’s ok this copy will be on file, please sign this one other form.” I felt the agent was a credible person of a credible company, so I... read full review »

Silver Colloids
February 7, 2008
The site www.silver-colloids.com, owned and operated by www.colloidalsciencelab.com, does 'research' on products that claim to contain colloidal silver. The product that does best in all of their 'studies' is a product called MesoSilver, sold by www.purestcolloids.com, who also sell many other colloidal 'Meso' products. It turns out that all three websites reside on the same segment of IP addresses, are registered with the same private registrar, use the same host and nameservers, have the same trace route, and... read full review »

I order the double plated silver nameplate #GF99 for a Christmas present to my daughter. Prior to placing my order I sent an email inquiring about changing the chain (18in Figaro)that comes with the nameplate to a Gucci chain same length. Gene Eddleman built a new home for us and within 6 months the roof began to leak and mold because it was built without any ventilation. We requested it be repaired for 4 months and finally took on the task of hiring someone to repair it before it got too bad. It cost us about $5,ooo and he gave us $2,000. He has been fighting with us through the Arkansas contractors licensing board ever since to avoid paying for his mistake. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! read full review »

RealNetworks / SuperPass
February 6, 2008
Well... perhaps my fault partly but in 2003 installed RealNetworks RealPlayer and didnt realize I registered for membership and just now in 2008 (900 dollars later) determined I was a member... sure, part my fault... but why would they continue to charge my account when no activity logging into there service for 5 years?!? They gave me 3 month refund... 45 dollars... I was billed 900 DOLLARS ! I recommend when installing anything... don't give any card even if it is for 14 days trial... they wont make it easy for you to see that you will be billed... and after 5 years maybe give you 45 dollars refund. read full review »

Nick's Pizza & Beef
February 6, 2008
After receiving my receipt for my food, I noticed that the menu items contain one price, and on the receipt, the price does not match the menu price. That price is escalated to a higher price reflected in the subtotal and then sales tax is applied to already taxed items, thereby double taxing customers. Most individuals either never ask for their receipt or never go over their receipts once they get them. So the restaurants are aware of this and they get away with it. read full review »

Kirby Vacuums
February 6, 2008
Okay, I have read many experiences of the Kirby sales tactics and here are my solutions 1. If you want one go on ebay and buy one, the older ones like the Sanitronic and The Classics are still good vacuums. And 2000 dollars for the Sentria? Try 800 on ebay. 2. If you already have a kirby just simply tell the salesperson you do 3. If that doesnt work say you've worked for the company before and you know what he/she is trying to do 4. If that doesnt work just simply tell them "If you do not vacate my property willingly I will call the authorities and have them do it for you" read full review »
