Went to a music website Dec. 17, trial for 3 days, then 39.73 per month. Logged in and tried to download, or listen to songs for 1 hour. Website kept telling me I was logged in but everytime I tried to download or listen it would say 'you need to log in' I sent a cancellation notice that nite to the site explaining why I was cancelling Dec 19 Billing-Aid took $4.87 out of my account plus $1.00. Color wheel has gone out 4 times since I purchased this set on 8-30-2006..Have called Sharp service requesting to purchase a new "color wheel" ...case # 4470299 and talked with "Keith" on 10-13-2008 and you can not just get the color wheel you have to purchase the entire unit at $1400-1800...which is close to what I paid for my set...all it takes to fix is some lubricant on the color wheel shaft and the set works perfect for 3-4 months. A CD was offered online for 1.98 shipping and handling fees. This was supposed to be a government grant search CD. You had to submit your Debit card or credit card to order the CD. Then a week later your charges were placed on your checking account for 69.98 which you did not authorize. This is a serious scam and is affecting a lot of people online. The United States Government should investigate this fully, and lock up these criminals promptly. I placed a telephone order for 1 snuggie blanket as seen on t.v. The machine took all the info down but didn't give me a chance to answer questions and the machine just went on and on. I responded to a website ad (referred to the product as having been recommended by Oprah) and used my credit card to pay $3.95 S&H for a trial offer. I never got the email confirmation and never received the trial. They have charged an additional $87.13 plus $2.44 for foreign exchange charge, two times in the past ten days for a total of $183.09. I called the number and got a foreign customer rep who assured me she would have a credit sent through to my account. After I mistakenly blocked a collect call from a family member at a correctional facility, I tried approximately 4-5 times over 2 weeks to "unblock" with T-Netix customer service. I bought the iDrive because it offered a quick and simple approach to mounting a garage door opener. The design seemed ingenious...and it really is...but their implementation of the motor/gearbox is less than robust.
