I applied for a small auto loan with 5th 3rd, who I have been a member with for almost ten years. After three days, I was informed that the loan was denied. That same day I sent in a co-signer to be added to the loan and asked that it be resubmitted. Over the next five days I was called numerous times asking for extra bits of information. I orderd two movies for my Son for Christmas from www.HotMovieSale.com. I was looking at my monthly statement for my Credit Card and noticed a deduction of $29.95 from SmartSavingsCenter.com. I NEVER joined a Membership or authorized this deduction from my account. When I ordered the movies from HotMovieSale.com they authomatically joined me to SmartSavingsCenter.com. Please beware of the India group recliner, I loved the style, however the recliner does not support your head in any reclining position...it is the design so they tell me. Now who in their right mind wants a recliner that dosen't support you head in any reclining position, it goes against the whole essence of the word "recliner."

Midwest Publishers Inc. signed me up to receive 4 magazines for 1 year. Cost was to be $37.38/mo for 6 months. I was told that after I received documentation in the mail that I would have the right to cancel if it was not as I understood it.
They took first payment out $37.38 on 2/16/11. Since they did not hear from me they assumed I would continue. But did not get the documentation until late February 26.

I have a ceramic glass top electric stove. I smelled a funny smell one night before going to bed chemical or something. In the morning I awoke to a broken stove top.
The Warranty Company American Home Shield decided that a broke the stove top by dropping something on it (which I did not ) and refused to pay for replacing it. My stove is only 2 years old and I have had Home Warranty service for 3 years. Not only did they decide not to pay for a new stove top I ended up paying a $55.0o service fee to boot.

On 06/10/08 I was scheduled to leave Syracuse, NY at 630AM for Cleveland, Ohio. The driver was a no-call, no-show for his job. The arrival time in Buffalo was 1130AM. I was inconvenienced having to wait in that horrendous section of Buffalo till 2PM. I arrived in Cleveland at 6PM.

Although I reside in Charlotte NC I listed the location of the complaint in the city where I purchased the car, Marietta Georgia. The Saturn Vue company which is GM should be litigated. I bought this car in 2007 and in August of 2009 I began having transmission issues and forked out $4000 to get it fixed. I had to go through misery saving the money to do it. The plan has a very high kwh rate, but the company advertised on their website that the rate would be "proactively" and "automatically" lowered to the "lowest available rate" after three months of on-time payments. I too, tried to cancel my account with CastleRock only to be told that I had to finish my 3 years. When I tried to cancel after the 3 year period, I was told that it had automatically renewed. When you look at a website and it tells you the guidelines in what the purchasing process is, you would expect it to be just like that. Well for this site it wasn't, after giving the info it required, it then wanted a photo ID or a Bill, to verify information? What would they need that for? The misleading sales practice involves a contract that one cannot be released from - ever, unless you sell it to some other unsuspecting person, or as the contract suggests you must do, pass it on to the 4th generation of your own family - gee what a great inheritance. $100 a year doesn't seem like much - but it galls us to pay for something we no longer want or use. THis company advertises lifetime file downloads for $26.65 but after you have ordered and received your credit card info it turns out to be $105.95. When I asked why, I was informed that in their terms and conditions it spelled out that there were various other services that you were being charged for. Kenmore Elite Washing Machine
Our $800 Kenmore Elite washing machine died after 13 months. Since it had a 12 month warranty the Sears people didn't take any responsibility - even though we had called them 3 months earlier to report the problem (the agitator came loose from the machine and would come out when the clothes were removed). They told us the repair would be $550, plus it cost $55 to have their service guy come out and say "yup, it's all screwed up". I Caution anyone who thinks about buying a dog from Denise or Kaitlyn Kleiber. They sell multiple puppy breeds under the name of Kleibers Kanines & Revalation Danes. I myself along with many others have been taken by their scam. They claim to register their puppys with the AKC but never give you the papers for your puppy. I ordered a net 10 refurbished phone for $20 online. When I received it I got the message unable to charge when plugging in the wall charger. I requested to return it and was instructed to take it to Fedex and I was responsible for the shipping. I was to only use UPS or Fedex and get them the tracking number.
