We returned to Cuba and rented a car for 2 days. The rental agent told us this was high season. All the hotel staff told us it wasn’t. When we rented the car we were told it was cash only. I bought my 2009 van brand new. I have had on-going problems with the sliding doors sticking. When I took it to the dealership (under warranty) they said my kids must have spilled soda on the guides. No communication or estimates given prior to work. No prior consent recieved on charges. Quality of work on motorbikes and scooters is embarassing. They guarantee nothing; if you have a problem then you pay twice or go elsewhere. They know there are not a lot of places with their services locally and take advantage of customers -especially young people. I purchased the 3 year warranty after getting my transmission fixed on my Pontiac G6 at Aamco in Jacksonville at 8721 Atlantic Blvd. Only 9 months later, my transmission broke down again and I went back to Aamco to get it redone. On December 21'st 2010 I contacted the company to have my billing date changed from the 1st of every month to the 21st of each month. These guys are fraud..they gave me an available date for pick up..no one picked up my car on that day then on Friday that week got a call that It will not be picked up and as it was weekend it was there till Sunday and had to leave my car with the neighbor... I bought a Die Hard battery for my motorcycle on Saturday 3/19. Got it home and directions say add the included acid but acid was already put into battery and sealed. I thought maybe Sears does it for safety reason since it is acid. Well it turns out battery will not work on bike, cables will not connect with terminals. The dealership is involved in unfair practices. They sell the same car to two different customers. The dealership, promise false price to bring customer in and then auction the car to the highest bidder. The money was taken out of my account on the day of ordering and I sent the required documentation driving lisence, V5 form and other personal info as required.
