I live in PITTSBURGH, always bought old cars and fixed them up. Last one was a 2001 Honda Odyssey. I did a lot to fix that van to get it on the road. Finally at 10 years old and 146, 000 miles I decided to trade it in on my FIRST new car (I'm 64 years old). I compared the Kia Soul and the Honda Element (2011 is it's last year of production). Seemed like the Kia was more affordable; because the dealer (Century III KIA)head salesman offered $6, 000 in trade. The Kia Soul also lists lower than the Element. Santander offered me a settlement on my vehicle. I complied with the settlement amount and sent the check within the dates that were discussed. However Santander, 45 days later, still has not sent my title. As proof I kept the settlement letter but they are suggesting I still owe a balance. Like many others have complained I am getting no response or customer service. Seeing as how they do not have phones and email higher management I asked to be copied on the email as proof they sent it. Of course my request was denied!!! My son went to have an aligniment done on his car.He did not have a center link, he went to nappa to get the part. Farm and fleet told him it would now cost him time and a half because he bought the part himself (farm and fleet does not carry part). He asked the auto service manager, why the mark up? his response, "it's company policy" No other explanition, well it is apparent that farm and fleet has a "policy" that if they can't overcharge you bye inflating the cost of the part they just come right out and tell you, we want more money just because, we were unabale to overcharge you on the sneek...nice read full review »

Acura was badly wrecked, and we were not informed ! My wife and I went to Ohio Auto Warehouse a few weeks ago to pick up an MDX that had a clean car fax. We were told by Bob the owner it had been in a minor rear collision. We took the car to Acura and were told it had been in a very serious accident, a ton of paneling had been done, the car still had dust from body work on it. After dealing with the worst high deceptive salesman at Moses Motors in Nebraska we ended up with a car not as described. We were very happy with our 2007 HHR and only stopped at the dealer because of a contest they had going on. Spent the entire day there (morning though afternoon) because they kept saying they could get us better deal and actually lower payments on a newer car. My family of 6 recently traveled to Ireland. After years of saving and searching for deals in Ireland, I rented a car online with Kenwal. Needing a large vehicle to accomodate my family and our luggage, I was able to get a Caravelle from Budget in Galway (via Kemwel). Upon further investigation, I determined it was cheaper to rent a vehicle from Dublin (where we landed) than for the 6 of us to take the train to Galway as originally planned. I would suggest anyone not buy a Pre-owned "Certified" Ford from Keith Hawthorne Ford in Charlotte, NC. In my experience they do not put them through the Ford 169 point inspection. I bought one which had three issues that would not have been there if they had properly inspected. Two they fixed since I caught them in time but the 3rd is my problem according the Ford Motor Company and Keith Hawthorne Ford. Buyers beware!!! The service manager actually misrepresented the facts as did Ford Corporate legal to the Better Business Bureau. I took my 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix to Mataga GMC in Stockton. I was told that my catalitic converter was bad, so my mom and I purchased a new one from Kragen Auto Parts|. The next day June 15 I brought it into Mataga GMC to have it installed!. 5 hours later we were informed that it was repaired|. I took my mom to walmart which is accros the street, upon leaving to go home the car exibited the exact same simptoms;. I did not even travel 1/4 of a mile by the time this started/. (which I took out in 2007 for $1, 795. for 5 years) was that my vehicle was to be serviced no more than 5, 000 miles between oil changes. In October 2009 we drove to Southern California and back, a distance of approximately 1700-1800 miles. I went to go get my transmission drained and refilled at Payless Auto Repair. I watched the mechanic through the whole process and noticed when he was putting the new transmission fluid into my car it looked like a pink milkshake creamy and light pink. On May 24, 2011 I brought my 2002 Grand AM to the active green and ross location at 2115 sheppard ave east. I brought my car in for a simple 24.95 oil change. During the oil change, the guy at the desk comes back into the waiting room from the garage and tells me that my brakes appear to be seized. I told him immediately that there was NOTHING wrong with my brakes. My brakes were done about a year and a half earlier, both front and back, full calipers, rotors and pads. DO NOT GET SERVICE at Berts, I took my quad there for complete service and valve adjustment, $550, first time out the motor blew apart, totally destroyed. The shop I took it to said both spark plugs were loose and it got it so hot the piston seized which took out the rod and crank.. I took it back to Berts they had the service manager (who knows nothing about customer service) tell me that the rod pin busted (he said very common in Yamaha)(why would I ever buy another?) and for me to pound sand they were taking no responsibility. This morning I stopped at the Exxon station at 10800 Research Blvd in Austin, Texas fo fill my truck and get a wash. After checking, the technician in the local service center in Beer-Sheva told me that, the compressor of my cars' air-conditioning sistem is defected and it must be replaced. Melody Lopez - Richardson, Texas : Why is this convicted felon (drugs, DWI) driving daily with a suspended license? How do repeat offenders get away with breaking the law on a daily basis and not get caught? If you see a black, 4-door Chevy SUV with the license plate AL9 5166, please call your police department and report it immediately! This driver has a suspended license (due to a DWI charge) and drives on a daily basis, often drunk, with two small children in the car! Sh is usually in and around the Richardson, Texas area. I returned a car at approximately 6:00 am, on July 1, 2011, due to a 7:00am flight out of Shreveport. It’s understandable that no one was at the counter that early in the morning. I drop the keys and a note with the odometer reading in the drop box located on the counter. As of July 5th I have not receive an email with my receipt. I called phone number (318) 621-8500 at 8:00am, July 5, 2011 and left a message asking for a receipt. I had a Bionx electric motor fitted to my bicycle. I was told at the time that the battery would last about five years. The motor burned out after less than three years of light use and the battery was dead after about the same amount of time even though it had been looked after very carefully according to the instructions. It was going to cost $1700 to get the motor fixed and a new battery was priced at $1400. This is a terrible company to deal with. Their products are shoddy and grossly overpriced and their customer service does not exist. Do not buy anything from BionX. read full review »

I had an electric motor installed on my brand new 26 speed bike by Fun Mobility Products. When I went to pick it up, the back brake didn't work any more. The owner of the business told me I would have to take it to a bike repair shop to get it fixed. So I'm supposed to pay somebody else to fix something he messed up? I later found out that, without my knowledge or consent, he had kept the back wheel of my new bike, an item worth over $200 which he refuses to replace. I have not received acknowledgement of the Sale or a paid Invoice, 15 days after PayPal confirmed that US Auto Parts had the payment . I took my car to Just For Brakes in Marietta, Ga back in March 2011 due to squeaking and vibration when I braked. I was inquiring about the $99 special. My car was inspected and I was told that I needed calibers. I was told the complete job would be about $400 dollars. I did not have the full amount so they decided to take half the money and I was told they then put new pads and shoes on my car. Have a 2007 Outlander. Bought GPS update dated September 2010, but it still does not have streets that are 5 years old and is similarly out of date regarding restaurants. Want to return but since it's installed, dealership (Stohlman in Tysons Corner, VA) says they can't take it back and gave me Mitsubishi number. Mitsubishi pointed me back to the dealer (though did say that GPS updates are generally 18-24 months behind - of course this was never mentioned when I bought and it's still not true in that it's really over 5 years behind in some cases).
