I purchased a pre-owned Nissan from South Coast Acura in January 2007. I paid cash for the car and paid cash for a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty. In November 2007, the car broke down out of state. It was towed into a Nissan Dealer who ran the vin # and discovered no warranty existed. I contacted South Coast Acura regarding the problem. I purchased a Maruti Alto car (MH12 DE 4823) from Sai Services-Pune in April 2006. Since day-1, there is an irritating humming noise when we drive the car in 4th and 5th gear. The problem has been looked at many times by the Kondhwa service center of Sai Services, but no solution till date. I called Budget rent a truck to dispute a 50.00 charge for canceling a reservation with in 6 business hrs from the time it was made. I talked to the place I was to rent the truck from and they canceled saying no problem. I then saw a charge on my credit card for 50.00. I called Budget rent a truck and tried to explain what happened. The customer service rep. told me that it was their policy to charge 50.00 if reservation was not canceled within 48 hrs. I purchase my car from CPS in 2006..I tried to make my payments every month..I got behind 125.00 because I don't have insurance and had to go to the doctor, so I used the money for doctors' visit , medicine and blood work. I purchased a Magellan model 360 GPS in December 2006. The street names in Sebring, FL. had been changed one year earlier and they were not updated in the Magellan GPS. I was told there was none available yet. Three months later I was told the same thing, wait a little longer and an update should be available. In August 2007 they said there would not be a map update and I would have to send in my unit and exchange for a newer model. He not only misbehaved with the staff and manager of the company but also directed to not entertain the vehicles insured by ICICI Lombard. Just a huge warning to all of you out there to never take your vehicles in to Wal-mart Tire & Lube ANYWHERE in the USA!!! Please look @ the HUGE consumer complaints & take extra caution before you get stuck will a huge loss!!! I took my vehicle in two days ago to the Wal-Mart Tire & Lube in Bryan, Texas USA & was getting my normal usual 3000 mile routine oil change. My daughter wanted to purchase a vehicle as she had saved up $1000.00 for a down payment. She was 2 weeks shy of her 18th birthday. At sands on broadway we found a chevy blazer that she loved. After ignoring my calls for almost 3 weeks,now they are lying about the value of my truck and will only pay for 50 % of my fence that was destroyed. The agent handling this is Sylvia Gomez. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the quality of Nissan. I bought a certified used 2005 Altima with around 30,000 miles on it. At around 60,000 miles it needed a new transmission. It now needs another transmission only 40,000 miles later. That's 100,000 miles and 2 transmissions. This is NOT the quality car I thought I read about. The dealer also was nice enough to inform me that because the transmission was only warranteed for 12 months/12,000 miles, that I will be charged for the new transmission. What is that all about? I ordered a part last week and chose the 2nd day air delivery from UPS(which was an extra $60). It has been over 5 days and have gotten no response from the company. They took their phone number off their website (hmmm). And their contact us page says they reply to emails promptly (hmmm). I have emailed them like 10 ten times to find out when they are going to ship and i get no response. I called my credit card company to cancel and they said they couldnt for some reason. I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the treatment I received in your Canadian Tire store, 1595 Bedford Hwy, Bedford, Nova Scotia. On November 10th, 2007 I took my vehicle for regular oil change, and I also asked that some of my car's electrical parts be checked. I had a problem with my break lights switch and one of the fuses was blowing. Technician replaced the fuse, bent bracket back so that brake lights would shut off. I ordered a wheel for my car on May 25, 2007. I paid something like $40 for 2-day delivery because i needed it for a road trip that same weekend. As soon as I placed my order and right after my confirmation email, i received an email saying that this particular wheel is considered a "high-performance" part and that because of that it will take 1-2 WEEKS to ship. to be fair, they did not charge me for the 2-day shipping. In December of 2006 I purchased a 2007 Chevrolet Corvette as well as purchasing the extended warranty. A few months ago the coupe top started to make a real bad creeping noise. On 11-10-2007 ,i went to have my 1996 Madza pick-up tohave brakes and drum and rotor replaced on truck. the parts were appromiately 250.36. they charged me 1100.00 dollars for the job. I believe that they over charged on the labor. It only took 2hours to do the job. they charged 325.00 per hour .That is way too much. I went to Tire Kingdom in Salisbury NC on 11/9/07. Wanting two new tires, All 4 wheels aligned, the brakes checked for wear and an oil change. About an hour later I got a call telling me the brakes had quite a lot of life left. I declined replacing the brake pads. I signed the document authorizing the work to be done with a $4.00 shop charge (For consumables they tell me). I was told that I could still get or put on the 36,000 miles allowed, making that a total of 43,245 miles I could put on before being charged. The dealership was going to sell me another car at a "good price" and was instead trying to upsell me and went back on their deal. I finally asked them to just switch me to another LR2. On July 23, 2007 I took my Buick to Alternative Transmissions by Jack Dempsey in Winter Garden for a Radiator replacement. I had already purchased the replacement radiator at a Parts Store for $250 before I went to save time. Bill, the Manager gave me a estimate for $70 and said it would be ready in 1 hour. Heinold & Feller Tire Co - Valparaiso , IN On 10/27/07 I brought my 2002 Audi TT to Heinold & Feller for an oil change and spark plug change. They charged me $28.22 for each spark plug without labor just parts. These plugs, (NGK PRF6Q) are much cheaper. The highest price I found was $14.58 each at the Audi dealer. I called and spoke to Mike who said that is what they paid. He also stated that everybody has a mark up on parts. Which I agree with, but not doubling the price.
