Alldrive Canada Inc.
October 30, 2006
Alldrive Canada, located in Calgary and Vancouver, has rented us an RV for 15 days, during the summer. We had a number of complaints about the RV, and told them the most urgent one by phone right away when we discovered it. They did NOT react. After returning the RV, we told them again about our complaints, and said we wanted compensation for it. They said they needed to consult the headoffice, and would react be email within 2 days. They did not react. We sent them an email again, with all our complaints, and their promise to contact u... read full review »

Alamo Car Rental
October 30, 2006
In the summer of 2005, my wife and I planned a trip to England, and booked a van rental for a couple of days through AutoReservation.com with Alamo car rentals, so that we could take friends of ours and our daughter and her boyfriend to the Isle of Wight. When we got to pick up the van in Brighton, they wanted to charge $1500.00 (refundable) on my credit card in advance of renting the van, claiming it was standard practice. I had rented vehicles in England before, and had never been hit with such an advance charge. Friends had even rented from... read full review »

Dollar.com - Rent A Car
October 30, 2006
I booked a minivan from Dollar on Travelocity. It was supposed to cost about $70/night. When I arrived at Newark airport to pick it up, the desk agent told me they would charge $55/day extra because I live in Brooklyn. I refused to pay it, telling her that I had booked it for much less. She said I had no choice in the matter, and I couldn't get the van without the extra fee. I left to try to find another alternative, but no other agencies had vans, and I needed to leave for my wedding that night, so I sucked it up and rented the... read full review »

Rick Hendrick Chevrolet
October 30, 2006
I bought a new Chevy Colorado LS extended cab back in December 2005. After having it for 3 weeks and finally had time to look at the truck or to use the truck I could not get the tail gate to open. I called the dealership and they said to bring it in and I also told them my key punch outs were missing and my portfolio were also missing, and I still don't have my other key. I took the truck in and we play with the tail gate and inserted the new key and it opened and I thought it was fix. I try the tail gate later when I got home and it... read full review »

Toyota - Amityville, New York
October 28, 2006
I purchased a 2003 Toyota Corolla from Atlantic Toyota in Amityville New York. In the three years that I have had the car the rubber window guard has been replaced twice because it becomes loose and comes down with the window. The first two times were covered under my warranty. The third time I was told by Atlantic Toyota that the last time it was replaced was one year and two months ago and if it was under one year they could have replaced it for free under the warranty but I was two months over the warranty. They said they would give me a... read full review »

Wolfchase Chrysler / Jeep-Bartlett Tennesse
October 28, 2006
I purchased a vehicle from them in March 06. This vehicle was used and did not have but one key for it, but I was promised that they would get me the other key, which they never did and I talked to my salesman who acted as if he never promised this (I should have gotten it in writing) so I still do not have a key for my husband to this day. This vehicle was also missing a tire jack which I did not know until a few weeks after I had it. Recently I refinanced this vehicle for a cheaper interest rate. The existing loan was paid in full by the new... read full review »

Pep Boys Auto
October 26, 2006
To make a long long story short as possible. I had an issue with my brakes so I had my car "diagnosed" at PEPBOYS (took over a week) whom originally quoted me a ridiculous amount of work totaling to over $700.00 PEPBOYS told me I needed back struts, new front brakes, pads, roders a master cylinder and a tie rod etc... I asked what was absolutely necessary and PEPOYS told me the front brakes, pads, roders, tire rod and master cylinder. Like a fool I had all that work done. As soon as I picked up my car and drove pff the lot I found... read full review »

Auto Repairs Mazda
October 26, 2006
On sept 21, 2006 i drove my 1995 mazda millenia "the car" into duval mazda of gainesville for service. The car was running fine. The service was preventive maintenance & to check the cause of a "check engine light". The 1995 mazda has a proprietary computer system that can not be checked by any one besides the dealer. Again the car was running fine. The car and was not smoking after the initial 10 seconds at startup. I was advised that the valve covers and engine seals were leaking oil onto the top of the engine & they... read full review »

Dodge Caravan
October 21, 2006
Our beautiful 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan suffered a complete air conditioning system failure at 60,000 miles, then a transmission failure at 64,000 miles. I spent the $2700.00 to repair both, then drove it straight to the Toyota dealer to trade it on a Sienna. I have owned Mopars since the late '60's, and have always considered them cutting edge in design and performance, but the quality (sorry, Dr. Z) simply isn't there any longer. I cannot conceive of a situation in which I would purchase another Chrysler product, which i... read full review »

Petro Canada
October 20, 2006
This is not really a complaint about any one person, but I really hate the gas prices. I know for a fact that the Big 4 Oil Companies in Canada are making huge profits regardless of the market price per barrel. Their profits stil increase every year, the reason is because we're all so dependant on it. Our pockets get more empty, but theirs get more full with $$$ I drive 2 hours a day, and the amount of money I spend in gas is more than I spend on food, water and hydro. Maybe with enough hassle, we'll finally get our break! It's worth a try. read full review »

We bought a used 2001 Chevrolet Suburban at Bankston that their written documents said was a "certified car" and, therefore, was not being bought "as-is," and further, we bought a warranty for about another $1,200. The Texas Safety Inspection sticker showed that Bankston had done the inspection three months before and that it had been drive less than 200 miles before title was transferred to us. GM Fuel Price Protection Program
October 18, 2006
I purchased a 2006 Chevy Impala because it came with the General Motors Fuel Price Protection Program which guarantees that I only pay $1.99 per gallon for gas for the next 12 months no matter how far I drive. GM funds this program through the use of a Debit Master Card. They read your milage each month based on Onstar and depending on when they read it, they are supposed to post money to your card on either the 15th or 30th of each month. This is the second month in a row that GM has not funded the card in a timely manner. Their customer... read full review »

Budget Car Rental
October 18, 2006
This posting is to warn vehicle renters in Germany to be very thorough in inspecting their vehicle, because Budget will hold you liable for every thing if it was not fully documented as preexisting damage. We learned this the hard way with a Budget car rental at Stuttgart airport in May 2006. We are 100% positive the scrape around our rental car's right rear wheel well was preexisting, because we noticed it after less than 20 minutes of driving without bumping or brushing into anything. We believe Budget placed us at a significant... read full review »

Indane Gas Agency
October 17, 2006
Today I went to Indane Gas Agency for gas booking. But I was shocked to see that they were forcing consumers to buy a gas pipe which costs 170/-. I was not agreed to buy this pipe because I renewed my gas pipe only few weeks back. I have been very aware of these things such as gas cylinder and its accessories. Now agency officials are not ready to book my gas even in this festive season, when a person needs it most. When I tried to contact to the Sales Officer Mr. Swarn Singh, he doesn’t pick my phone. Even on land line number. Thanks and Regards, Vinay. read full review »
