Bill Heard Chevrolet
September 29, 2006
Purchased a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix for over $20,000 (which I financed the whole thing) in February 2006 from Bill Heard, there are now three things wrong with the car in this short period of time that the warranty they added on to the sale will not cover. They told me the warranty would cover everything that I had a problem with but I come to find out from a GMC dealer here in Sacramento that is not the case and I was misled. I feel that they charged me way to much for the vehicle and were very dishonest in disclosing the details of the... read full review »

Vince Whibbs GMC
September 29, 2006
I had a GM recall service done on my 2001 Yukon XL and the fuel pump failed 7 days afterward, stranding my family for 3 days in a distant location. GM Customer Service says there is no relationship to the recall repair and the fuel pump failure based upon the service station's reply to their telephone inquiry. There was no indications of failure prior to the recall. The service center had to remove my tank and drain it to enter the tank. The wiring harness that was changed was connected to the fuel pump. The fuel pump apparently... read full review »

Penske Honda - Ontario, California
September 27, 2006
Lies, lies, & you guessed it...more lies and all from Honda & it's ad campaign claiming 49/50 MPG on their touted 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid. We fell for the sales pitch & hype when we plunked down $27,000 in April '06 for our new Honda Civic Hybrid. Turning out to be Truly a bad move, as we have never seen anything over 34 MPG & it's currently 32 MPG. A far cry from their deceitful and misleading claims. After confronting our Dealership (Penske Honda with this information, one of their staff (an obvious trouble... read full review »

SUNL
September 27, 2006
In April of 2006 I purchased 6 ATV's from a SUNL dealer thru EBAY. This dealer, who I will not name, has been so very helpful. I have no complaints at all about him. He has sent me box after box of parts for free. What absolutely floors me, is how incredibly poorly these things are made. My kids are all average sized, ranging from 6 yrs old to 11 yrs old. They only ride them on the weekends in our 4.5 acres of flat as can be grass yard. No jumps, tricks, rough riding, nothing. These things have been an endless headache for me. I seriously... read full review »

2006 Chevy Cobalt from Bill Heard Chevrolet in Columbus, Georgia
September 27, 2006
My wife and I recently purchased a 2006 Chevy Cobalt from Bill Heard Chevrolet in Columbus, Georgia. We left the car lot feeling certain that we were the owners of a new car and that they were taking our trade in - a 2004 Ford Taurus. It has now been 9 weeks and they have not found a financing company for our Cobalt. They say the purchase agreement I signed want allow me to take it back. But the worst thing is that they have sold my 2004 Taurus and have not even paid it off. Capitol One is calling because they say I am 2 months behind on my... read full review »

Sames-Crow Ford dealership - Corpus Christi, Texas
September 27, 2006
Don't know if this is possibly so standard as to be boring ... But I was dealing with Sames-Crow Ford dealership in Corpus Christi, Texas. The finance department was absolutely TERRIBLE regarding how they handled this all-cash sale. First, they told me that I HAD to have the car registered in Texas (even tho I am moving to North Carolina in about a month and already had an address there... They told me, straight, that this could NOT be done -- but I had it on good authority from two other dealerships that this was a routine... read full review »

Unitrin Direct
September 27, 2006
A car insured by Unitrin Direct totaled my car. It took 8 days for the claims rep to return our phone calls. On the 9th day, I was allowed a rental car for a week. The claims rep gave me a low-ball figure for my ruined car. It is not enough to purchase anything comparable to my vehicle. The claims rep lied to my husband on several occasions, yelled at him, hung up on him, refused to transfer him to a supervisor, told him he could care less about our problems, and will not add days to our rental car until we can find a car to buy. We have never... read full review »

September 26, 2006
My compliant is that I have a 05 FAT BOY and it uses oil. I called Harley-Davidson customer service and they advised me that it was normal and within specs that new Harley's use one quart of oil every 1500 miles. I feel Harley-Davidson should tell the customer that their new bike more than likely will be using oil. I sure would not buy a new vehicle if I know it will be using oil!!! Nothing is stated in owners manual about oil consumption and they recommend oil change at every 5,000 miles, my question to Harley-Davidson is why change the... read full review »

DAS Auto Shippers took delivery of my car and guaranteed to deliver the car from Phoenix to Boston in 7 to 9 days. The car arrived after 3 weeks with the following damage: the speedometer and odometer had been disconnected, which leads us to believe the car was stolen and driven. All of the windows were left open during shipment and the car traveled through very bad weather and rain. The car was filled with seveal inches of water, which destroyed the interior and several electronic modules located under the seats. We contacted DAS to claim the... read full review »

Win Kelly Chevrolet
September 19, 2006
I bought a new Chevy Equinox from Win Kelly Chevrolet. The closure on the deal was stalled for 30 mins. because I wanted the GM zero deductible 5 year 60,000 mile warranty at dealer cost + $ 50. They were not willing to do it and I was planning to go to another dealer. After some internal discussion, the salesman came up with affirmative response, because I told him, I have got 3-similar deals in the past. They showed me GM papers with $1060 as their cost plus $50 as their profit and I purchased the warranty at $1110. At the time of delivery... read full review »

I had a 60K tuneup on my 2003 Toyota Prius on 7/13/06. When I returned in the late afternoon to pick up the car I was given the keys and told to have a nice day. I was ready to drive off when I noticed a 16" crack in my windshield which had not been there when I dropped the car off that morning. When I brought this to the Service Mgrs attention he pointed out a tiny, almost imperceptible little nick at the edge of the windshield and said when they gave me my "complimentary car wash" it must have caused the crack. In late June of 2006 I took my car (1998 Honda Accord LX) into Free Service Tire and Auto service center located at 4925 Broadway N.E. Knoxville, TN 37918 to have the brakes inspected. I had recently purchased the vehicle and had noticed that the brake light was intermitantly turning on and off. National Auto Shopper
September 15, 2006
National Auto Shopper is a scam and a complete rip off. I paid them $499 to post my vehicle on a website, list it on ebay and ultimately sell it. They told me they would sell it (probably within 30 days but it could take as long as 90 days) but they would sell my vehicle no matter what and they would sell it for more than I was asking. $1500 more than I was asking. In April I called every two or three days to find out the status of my vehicle. I asked them to lower the price so it would sell. Usually they never returned my phone calls. A warning to people contemplating the purchase of a Saab 9/7x: Beware of this Chevy masquerading as a Saab. I traded my 2005 Saab 9/5 Aero in for a Saab 9/7x, Saab's new SUV model. While I know the car was made in Ohio, I was assured by the salesman, Mike Hollywood of Ellis-Brooks Chevrolet in San Francisco, that this model completely was redesigned in Sweden to Saab standards. I went to Belle Tire in Lansing and bought two new tires for the front of my Astro Van. 3 months later I noticed a bulge in the side-wall of the front left tire. I took it in for warranty replacement and the salesman looked at the tire and claimed it was damaged. I pointed out that there was no damage to the rim or tire. He took his ink pen and circled a hair-line crack (which was caused by the bulge) and said it was damage. Long story short, they refused to replace the tire.
