I went into the dealership on March 30 just looking at cars. The salesman, Antonio, introduced himself and showed me the car, 2000 BMW Z3. We looked it over and found several small problems with the car of which were some small upholstery problems, and an oil leak. We discussed the problems and was informed that the problems would be fixed. I agreed to the purchase of the car with the understanding that it would be fixed. I bought a Peugeot 407 Coupee from Peugeot Menlyn in Pretoria South Africa on 2006/07/26. For the first six months my experience with Peugeot was a pleasant one.
On 1 March 2007 the vehicle had to be towed in top the dealership. I was informed the problem is a faulty catalytic converter, and that the part had to be imported from France, with a lead time of approximately 3 weeks.

Black Widow Inc
So it's May 7th and I decide I want to buy a cool motorized vehicle. I end up going for a Black Widow Inc Gas-Powered Scooter (www.blackwidowinc.com). They offer a "certified refurbished" model which they claim is in 100% working condition.
Three days later I receive the scooter and open it up. To my disappointment the scooter had all of these issues:
* Missing hardware to hold on the seat
* Missing hardware to hold on the gas tank
* Broken Hardware holding the chain in place (so chain just falls off)

Geico
We were on our way home when a Geico Insured driver went to sleep and rear ended our car. My wife was hurt and lost her job. I lost over $5,000.00 in lost wages. It took 2 years of fighting to get Geico to settle, $960.00 to me and $17,000.00 to my wife. This is before expenses and attorneys. I have to settle now. I am dying from Cancer. Hyundai India
I have this Santro Xing erlx purchased in May, 2006. This is indeed a cool machine specially on city roads and of course on highways, with superb driving comfort. However, the teething problem is a rattling sound that comes from somewhere near the steering console, once the car hits a bad patch of the road.

I have purchased Santro Xo on 26th Sep 06 from Lakshmi Hyundai, Visakhapatnam and was offered an Exchange discount of Rs.5000/- (I have sold a Maruti 800 car). After delivery of the car it was told that this money will be reimbursed by Hyundai company in due course. In spite of repeated follow up directly and through phone, we are yet to receive this amount.
If the offer was real, it could have been paid instantly, I understand that this is just a fraudulent practice to woo customers. read full review »

Infinity Insurance Company
I suffered a loss on 5/07/07. I called Infinity Insurance Company on that day and filed a claim. The agent told me that an adjuster will contact me within 48 hours. After Wednesday, 5/09/07 I called back and still no contact. I also called my insurance company, Mercury, and let them know and still no contact from the adjuster. AIG Insurance
After AIG gives you a good deal and you transfer to them, then they increase your rate and force you to pay the new higher bill. They send a sack on yellow, complicated papers to fill out. Then they say you didn't fill it out right and that's where the increase came from. I said I want the original rate you gave me, they said NO this is your new rate you have to pay. I purchased a vehicle from Huston Motors, Lake Wales Fl.back in July'06. They organized the finance with Drive Financial, Dallas TX. We were rushed into signing the contract without reviewing it thoroughly. Only after we realized that a fee of $2500 was added to our loan. The incorrect part had the correct part number on the package but was obviously mis-labeled. I am a full-time teacher, and very honest. He just told me that he never told me that quote…even though he saw my notes from December.

In September 2005 I called Showcars and spoke with the owner Rob Johnson about purchasing a 442 Oldsmobile fiberglass ram air hood for my car. Mr. Johnson lied and told me he has one and in order to ship the hood it has to be prepaid and to have the money, $1,202.68 including tax transferred to his personal account at the TD Canada Trust Bank. I purchased my Hummer H3 exactly 1 year ago. 6,000 miles into ownership and while on a long trip - I encountered the head/cylinder replacement issue which has become very prevalent in a certain vin number range in the 2006 H3's. 2002 Chevy Silverado

We bought a 2001 Honda passport in 02/07. By 04/07. 2 months later, the crankshaft broke and needs a new engine. Turns out the engine was either replaced or was worked on and then rod was repaired made to thin and broke. I bought a hyundai verna vgt ( crdi ) on february 15,2007 from rama hyundai, okhla. The car is just two and a half months old. It has been driven 3300 kms till date. I had a 2001 Toyota Echo that had a bad power steering motor that was going bad. My car was still under warranty, so I took it to Alderman's Toyota in Rutland Vermont to have the motor replaced.

I took my car in for an estimate to repair the muffler. I tool the owner it's an old car, that I will be selling soon, therefore no expensive repairs. He later called with an estimate that was over my budget. I said to forget the repairs, I will pick up the car. We had bought this vehicle from and on June 2002 Rogers Auto Group on Michigan Ave in Chicago to only learn we at first had no financing and then they called us back into the office to renegotiate the deal, inchich we thought was already in place. The then quoted us a different price and kept us in their establishment and office for more than two hrs. About 6 weeks ago I took my 1997 Honda Civic EX into Midas because the “Check Engine Light” was on and my car had been having a problem picking up after stopping and getting into the correct gear.

Over the past twenty years I've leased many, many cars. At the end of each lease I've turned in the car and have never -- not once -- been charged for any out of he ordinary wear. All of the cars I've turned in had some minor scratches, the occasional door ding, and so forth. No charges. Ever.
