Volkswagen 2006 V8 Toureg
January 26, 2007
I purchased my brand new 2006 V8 Toureg on 11/20/06. 4 Days after the check engine lite went on for the first time. Since then it has been at the dealer 5 times and so far 18 days in the 2 months I have had it. It is still there they say for at least 10 more days. They have replaced 2 ignition coils, a fuel injector, re-attached a hose, purged the coolant system, drained and refilled the gas tank and now they say there is a coolant leak inside the engine and that they will have to take apart the engine, see what additional damage has been done... read full review »

Fox Rent A Car
January 22, 2007
We rented a car from Fox rent a car from the san diego aiport. As others have also told you have to wait for around 30-60 mins before you get their shuttle. This shuttle took us to a creepy looking office. Tha parkign space where the cars were parked was dimmly lit. We had asked for a Mustang and as usual they did not have it and they offered us free upgrade. The frustrating part was that he did not have enough vehicles to choose from for an upgrade. We finally decided (due to lack of options) to rent a Prius (which actually is cheaper... read full review »

Dons Automotive
January 18, 2007
I took my auto to this repair shop for a rebuilt motor. He stated it will be ready in one week. He had it for three weeks. We picked it up and paid him 1,800 dollars for the work. The very same day we got three blocks away and it broke down. We had to get a rental for the 3 weeks. We had the car two weeks and it started over heating. We took it back and he said he fixed it. 2 days later it leaked a lot of oil and again we took it back he said give me 700.00 and that it was our trany. We took it to our old repair man he said that a lot of... read full review »

2007 Honda CR-V
January 17, 2007
A defective, brand new Honda 2007 model CR-V had a defective oil seal from the factory. It was sold by Honda of Serramonte at 485 Serramonte Blvd., Colma City, CA, 94014, (650) 758-4800 at 16 miles. Luckily, we did not go too far away--otherwise, the car would have stalled on the freeway when oil had been drained, would leading to an fatal accident! We had it for only 2 hours, from 6 to 8pm. On Nov. 16, 2006, my spouse, May Choi, drove it from the dealership to dinner. After dinner, we found that a line trail of oil was coming into the... read full review »

I purchased The phaser II early 2006 with the promise of a full refund if I was unsatisfied with the product. The sales pitch is that the "Phaser II" will hide your car from all police radar scanners. I have a friend who works for one of my local city police departments so I decided to test this unit against his radar. Surprise, Surprise, IT DOESN'T WORK!! I thought "hey, no big deal, I can send it back". Well again "Surprise, Surprise", I sent the unit back within the first week which was over 7 months ago and I... read full review »

DriveTime
January 16, 2007
I purchased a vehicle from DriveTime in October '06. The people in the showroom were very friendly, really too friendly. I bought a vehicle because I needed one. If I could have purchased the same vehicle new, it would have cost me less. The price I paid for the '01 Ford Focus was a rip-off. The bluebook on the vehicle was $3300 less than what I paid for it. Not the location of the dealer I was trying to get the part from, but this pricing by Kawasaki is unjustified. The Jetski is a 2003 KAWASAKI 800 SX-R and the part number is: 39156A, PAD, DECK FIN, LH, BLACK. Now keep in mind that this is just a piece of rubber - IT COST 482.00 !!! I almost lost my mind. Car Dealerships
January 10, 2007
I hate when you go to look at a car and the salesmen are so phony. You test drive cars and (knowing in the back of your mind) you're probably going to get ripped off when it comes down to buying the car. Let me tell you a little about my experience with McGinnis Cadillac in Houston, TX. During an online search for a pre-owned vehicle, I came across what I thought to be a pretty good bargain from McGinnis Cadillac. I called the number listed, and spoke to a sales person. She had the car towed to a private mechanic and it tuned out to be the fuel pump and the repair was less than $300.00.
