Entered dealership on 12/26/06. Found 03 Honda Pilot, and negotiated. 5 hours later contract finished, and drove vehicle home. Noticed large dent under rear hatch and returned to dealership. Discovered contract was inaccurate by 1000 miles with odometer statement, and veh. had other problems not disclosed to me earlier. Rescinded contract. 12/28/06 returned to dealership with offer from sales mgr. to rectify and find acceptable veh. and transaction. 5 hours later, multiple errors with veh. and dealer prep., I drove home. Discovered same error AGAIN with odometer statement, and now I wish to cancel all contracts with Cookeville Honda. Ineptitude. read full review »

We are original owners of a 1999 Plymouth Grand Voyager with less than 50,000 miles. It has been maintained according to schedule, and at 47,000 miles the engine blew a rod and now needs replacement at a cost of $5,000. I contacted Chrysler Customer Care - they don't care. To my inquiry about a well maintained vehicle lasting more than 47,000 miles they answer 'it's beyond the manufacturer's warranty.' A sales clerk, Adriana, asked for our phone number and I told her I did not want to give it to them, as I did not want to receive sales calls. She then said her manager told her that she could not take us on a test drive without the number as they needed them for "safety". As background, I am a foreign service officer who lives/works in Africa and have owned and driven several Landrovers in Africa. I spent good money for a quality highperformance transmission with a 1 year guarantee. The transmission did not work properly and was sent back.They gave a song and dance that it would be fixed.But months go buy,so I contact ebay and said that after sixty days they could do nothing. On December 28, 2006 I went to Washworks at 3:39pm to have my car washed. I paid $15.00 for a Deluxe car wash. After 40 minutes of waiting I began asking employees where my car was. No one was able to locate my car. I asked for a manager and they told me he was in a back garage. I walked back there to find my car in a shut garage and it had not been washed. My oldest son moved to Fairfax, VA back in August to start his first post-graduation job. He took my 1998 Volvo S70 with him for transportation. The local Volvo dealer is Fairfax Volvo so I told him to take the car there for an oil change and tire rotation. He provided his own motor oil (Mobil-1 synthetic) for the oil change as the dealership uses conventional motor oil only. I own a 2002 Chrylser Town & Country LXi (original owner). This past April with just under 39K miles on the odometer I noted a whirring noise from the engine compartment that grew progressively louder over the course of several weeks. I suspected a bad alterator which the dealer confirmed. Since i was 3K miles beyond the 'bumper to bumper' warranty (36K miles)I assumed it would be replaced under the extended powertrain warranty. We have a 2005 Sorento that since almost new has had a highly intermittent shifting problem in the defective manual transmission. We have documented several times via telephone and by certified letters to Kia Motors America Inc. When we asked, Kia denied any other documented cases of our problem. I gave Newsome chev the top marks on their critique of service 2007 chev did it because I know they are workers and I wanted to be kind. Four new tires had 25 lbs of air, should be 30 psi, and the new car preparation was unsatisfactory. Contracted with this company 10/20/06 for delivery of van from Florida to California. Was told it would arrive in 10-14 days. Multiple phone calls resulted in a multitude of excuses and we were told that per the contract, they are not responsible for delivery in a reasonable amount of time. Purchased Marin bicycle from Big Wheel bikes {$600} within one day of riding around rear wheel weird and very noisy. Found out that Only about 60 percent of the spokes were actually 'truing' the wheel; all the other spokes were just barely tightened. Walked the bike back to store; "returned' in rapid fashion, next day same problem!! Went back again to repeat, guy there indicated it is difficult to fix these problems from Marin. I had just gotten divorced and they saw "naive" coming. I had 4 witnesses at work meet with me & the salesman, I believed what he said he would do, replace the front bumper, complete extended warranty, etc. I failed to get this in writing. Pick up the car, sign, sorry, you signed, it is not in writing. My witnesses wrote letters, too bad. As a result I have lost a few thousand and I am not a rich person, single self supporting female. Our check engine light had been coming on for 100 months from the day we bought our Crysler in Feb 2006.We took it back and they put a gas cap on it and said it would be ok. It was not. It would come on and go off for 10 months until we had another problem. The electric window switch went bad in the right rear door. We took it in to have it fixed and had an oil change and told them the engine light was still coming on. They fixed it and charged us a total of 800.00 and a few dollars. Here are the problems I had with my 2002 Kia Sedona EX: Gas Gauge – After filling up with gas, the gauge immediately moved to half but took about five minutes to move from half to full. It also didn’t read accurately. While driving, it slowly dropped (as would be expected). The problem here was, it showed only 1/2 a tank of fuel when it's really 3/4 full. This dealer does not cover any replacement parts (especially catalytic converters, sensors, etc.) that are more than 1 year old. Since my Maxima is now due for a third catalytic converter/sensors at $1,200 (first one replaced at 52K!) third one would be at $1,200 at 82K within 2 years! On-Board Diagnostic Computers are great for making money, they indicate which part is bad (highest prices items) then the service department replaces it. The cause is never investigated. Over a period of several months, I spoke with the owner of Master Tech, who told me he would obtain a used engine for my 1995 Ford Mustang, damaged by a local auto dealer. After allegedly tearing my vehicle's engine down, the owner called me to state that the engine was extremely clean, that it would be better if he just rebuilt it, which is what I had wanted done initially because my engine had only 60,000 miles on it. WC Value Plus / Auto Cool

The only time I ever used my Debit Card was to order Auto Cool from TV Ad in August 06. The following month I was charged $48.88 by GPM Auto Cool. That was correct. I also saw a 19.95 by WC Value Plus, which I had never heard of. I was also charged $19.95 in October and November. These (WC Value Plus) charges were NOT AUTHORIZED. The only place anyone could have gotten my info was from GPM Auto Cool. I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General Office and need an Address for WC Value Plus if anyone has it. I will never have Allstate Insurance again because of the way they treated me when I was involved in an auto accident. In Nashville, Tennessee I was stopped at an intersection with no traffic light, waiting to turn left onto a four-lane road in front of my sons’ high school. I was may of 2004 when we stop at tri county Toyota and purchased a certified used 2000 Toyota Camry with 47XXX miles on it. We also bought and extended warrant. BMW 750i series has many computer related problems. The gas gage show that the car has gas, but in fact the car may be empty. I was left in the freeway three times due to this problem. In October 2006, I bought a 2001 Nissan Xterra from Wright Pontiac in Wexford, PA. When I bought it, I was told the alignment and power windows would be fixed. I took it in, and one of the power windows got fixed, but the alignment was still bad. The battery died in November 2006. I bought a new battery and had the Nissan towed to Wright Pontiac to have them replace it. This is not a complaint on Chevrolet itself but on one of their dealers. I purchased a 2007 tahoe in February. The service department there sucks. Every time i go in they never let me know when my vehicle is complete or what they did to it. I got a shaterred glass about two weeks ago, because of the rain.
