I purchased a Nintendo DS online. I did not notice till after I ordered the product that it was refurbished. The website claimed an order could be canceled within 24 hrs . Within 1 hour of placing the order, I left a message to cancel with all pertinent info requesting a call back. I placed a second call the same day saying the same thing. Of course, the order was not canceled and when I received it, I never opened the box, put it in an envelope and returned it as directed. Do not buy one of these. We bought one and within 1 month the screen was messed up (the pixels were degraded or damaged such that it looks like there are fireworks on the display.) Well, Magellan says it is not covered by their warranty because the screen is a component part that is not manufactured by them. So to get the screen fixed would cost an estimated $150 on this thing we just paid $450 for. Unbelievable. I bought a phone from Plemix.com and they sold me a used phone that was shipped from Hong Kong!! The phone had pictures and contacts from the previous owner. I even called the voicemail and it was already set up. Ever since we bought our computer in April of 2007, we had in for service 3 times for the D drive. We have called Microsoft and HP for help. Since we have bought this computer the D drive always notify us the space is low. Service department said the next time bring it in they would have to charge us. even though we have a service policy. Quality of this particular phone of samung is really bad. As it stopped working, without any identifiable reason. Phone just doesn't start and to my horrors they don't have a service center which are near my place. Their customer care gave me a phone number of one collection center in Vashi but no body picks up phone. Also found phone no. of a service center and and wow!! that phone no. doesn't even exists. I had bought the Samsung MAX the CDMA phone three months back and just after two and half months it troubled me with the severe problem and was sent to Banglore for the service and its been more than 1 month where the service status is static i.e. the problem is not resolved and it is very much discomfiting that there are a number of individuals I know in my office who are irritated with the Mobile phone and its service aspect. Revol has this phone replacement program that is a total rip off. I purchased 3 phones from Revol one for me and my 2 girls my phone started saying no service and wouldn't come back on and they told me I had to pay $45 to replace it, even after inspecting it to find nothing I had done caused the problem it was the network. I have purchased videocon washing machine 5months ago. They have given 2years warranty. Now its not working. 12 days ago, I have registered a complaint to the customer care. On 8/27/08 I purchased two outdoor solar lamps for my lawn to shine on the American flag at nite. I ordered on line from all-ink.com printer supplies a compatible laser toner. I got a response back they had processed my order and would be sending it out. It took two weeks for it to arrive and when it did it was the wrong toner for my printer.
