I tried to buy a Canon Camera today. They guy inisted I needed to buy a $89.00 battery as the battery that came with the Powershot SD 890 lasted only for 10 minutes. Sure! His name was Jacob. I called Canon to verify and they said he was absolutely not telling the truth. If there was no address on their website, they were not authorized to sell Canon Cameras. I checked their website and there was no address. I did not feel good about everything and anything he said...the way he said it, and the way he kept trying to sell me numerous overpriced products, so I told he just lost.. a sale. I have an unauthorized link on my computer for Antivirus 2008 protection that cannot be deleted. It says it is in use and cannot be deleted. Additionally, it is trying to force me to buy this software I do not need. It interrupts my internet usage and in some cases does not allow me to open needed files. I was told by our moving company that I should notify Sears to send someone to bolt/stabelize our washer and dryer prior to transporting them. I have been charged 29.95 (CLICKBANK) FOR governments records and cannot get my product. I have sent my receipt number---proof of pay, only to be stonewalled and told the receipt number is inaccurate. This is clearly fraudulent taking of money without the product. Then once you order and give them all your credit card and personal information, phone numbers etc they send you an order number claiming that shipment will take place within forty eight hours. After some time when you call to ask about the shipment, they inform you that the item is back ordered for six to eight weeks. On 8/11/08 I ordered a Norton/Symantec Antivirus system for my computer. Today (8/13) I find a charge of 36.47 by SKJA corp., and a pending charge of 57.84 by www.myord.com in the pending category, both in my account at Washington Mutual. I see by the complaints that many people have been double billed in this same fashion, but I do not see resolutions to their complaints.
