In March I got a rather nasty mailing from Money Magazine, wanting me to renew my subscription. It was short, rude and abrupt. SABC used my music for their program Special Assignment for about 4 years without paying me mechanical rights. I own the rights in perpetuity as I wrote and recorded it. I also have 97 broadcast sheets to prove it. SABC were under the impression that SARRAL (who gets an annual fee in exchange for clearing the rights regarding music broadcast on SABC) were, in fact, authorizing the usage as the title appeared on their website. We received bad service at New Bridge Café last week we went there. It is a bar and dinning there without ordering alcohol is ignored at New Bridge Café. I am not sure but it seems like they buy tips already marinated from McKinnon's and meat from Everett just next door.
