I love to go to the casinos and play blackjack on tables. So I decided to try the online gaming. I've played blackjack for years so I pretty much know the flow sort of speak. To make a long story short the computer lets you win a few hands and then when you increase your bet the cards all of a sudden starts getting bad. I signed up for automatic payment on the GE money website. GE doesn't get through the bank and I put in the right routing and account number because I checked with the bank. GE company should have notified me that they're not getting the payment, instead they were charging late fee. If I have known this, I would have paid it sooner. I ordered a subscription for my Mom for Magazine City on January 9th. My credit card was charged on January 10th. Today is March 23rd, with no subscription in sight. I have called all of the phone numbers for Magazine City and all of it's variations (Magazinia, etc.) and I can not get a human being to answer the phone at all. I purchased webroot and loaded it on my computer. When I tried to clean up after the sweep, the system reuired a renewal fee in spite of the fact that I had just activated and installed it on my computer. I was charged 39.90 on my credit card for magazines I did not order. I called the company to complain, they can't even find an order for me under my name or credit card number. How can a company charge a credit card without an order processed? It is a fraudulant charge and am still fighting to get the money back. I will not take this laying down. I could not get on my computer until I purchased the product for what was suppose to be a one time charge of $59.95 and instead was charged $80.00. I had to contact them to get it download even. Direct TV New customer with service installed 8-30-08. Installer of the service installed cable under house and did not bring it out the hole that asked him to. Instead of bringing it out the hole in the back of the house ran the cable thru the air conditioner hole on the side of the house. BE WARE - the software is only good for one year. Buy it only if you want to fork out $30 each year for using it. I bought RegCure a year ago. I was sucked in like others by the offer of free registry clearner which did not clean anything until I paid for the software. At least I thought that I paid for the software. To my suprise the software did not work after one year because apparantely ParetLogic put a time limit on it. I, too, am a victim of this so-called company's scam. I purchased what I thought was a nice boxed set (like one would buy in a store) only to receive home-made videos numbered by hand thrown into a plastic case, which I could have done myself. There were duplicates of some of the shows, so not all shows/seasons are included. Beginning of commercials "pop up" in the middle of the shows. Beware of using this business for any repairs!!! I used this business because Magnavox/Phillips recommended them. They picked up my television on 1/29/2009 for repairs that were to take 1-1/2 weeks. I was away and missed paying some my bills at my vacation home for February, including my Cogeco cable bill. They made only one attempt to contact me by phone - when I was away. They then sent a "collector" who came at 8:30 pm and behaved rudely with my wife when I was at work, took away my modem and cable box, all this when I had already paid the overdue amount recently. All the other services I had "defaulted" in February merely called again to remind me (they did not need to, I paid all bills as soon as I was back). Sportbook.com is an on-line gambling site. I requested a check for my winnings. I had to fax my drivers license, social security to them and I received a check two weeks later. I deposited the check into my my Mom's account and the check came back not paid. The check is stamped Return Sender-S Refer to Maker. I called Sportbook.com and spoke to an agent named Roger Jimenez located in Costa Rica. He told me to fax a copy of the returned check to the verification department and they would recredit my account. These people have scammed many people for production work... they will talk on phone and email take your money, hard drives, intellectual material and complain for months as they produce nothing. Today two months later I go through my statements and find two support subscription charges from intuit.
