I purchased the Vivitek 56" Rear Projection television in July of 2006 I have since had to replace the lamp for the fourth time now. Going direct to Vivitek they will charge you $196.00 for the lamp, but that does include shipping. How kind they are huh? NOT! Poor service 10 service visits since October. Finally admitted that TWC is kicking customers off Roadrunner for allege over usage. I have a few phone numbers to call if people need to contact someone at TV DVD Mania (not sure, but they may also go by other names, like Planet DVD, DVD Globe, etc.). The rep contacted me stating I had won a $1000 internet only shopping spree. Visa and Mastercard were sponsoring this promotion and I would also receive 5 magazines at the rate of $3 per week of which I would only pay for using my Visa or Mastercard along with shipping an handling for my packet. Despite "No Solicitation" signs posted at the entrance of our neighborhood, we had a young lady knocking on the door telling a sob story about how she was in rehab and had lost her children, the company was helping her to return to school. After agreeing to buy two magazines (at $100) she asked us to say something positive about her to show to our other neighbors. The owner is mexican and is hiring her poor unsuspecting mexican students, working them for the month and then firing them without pay. When you do ask for your pay she says dont bother her or she will call the police. The gaul!!!
