I was talked into a bundle through a verizon representative, she told me she had direct tv for a few years and she loved it; so I figured we'd give ot a chance. They called and got me to pay for the renewal of a magazine subscription. They represented themselves as if they were the magazine. This was on 10-March-2009. Today it is a month later and my magazine keeps notifying me that my subscription is about to end. After calling the magazine myself, I learned that they have not received any funds from US Periodicals for the renewal. I have notified my credit card company to dispute the charge. I ordered a set of DVDs from TV DVD Mania (I read in one complaint that they also go by the name TV DVD Store. It seems like complaints exist under BOTH names. After completed the first down load the program could not erase in our computer the previous version of Norton: it entered in a continuous loop displaing this note: "Prevous programs erased, please Restart your computer". I discovered today that someone got my credit card number and used it to purchase items on CLK Bank.com. CLK Bank gave me an email address associated with my credit card number. There is over $60.00 worth of charges on my account that was not authorized. I am being told that I will receive a refund in 3-5 business days. I recently signed up with Dish Network through Nor Cal Satellite and experienced the worst service in my life! The owner Dwayne Milton conned me into signing up. Dwayne bashed every other satellite company about their service quality. Nor Cal sent out some young kid who didnt know what he was doing at all! I used to love the Zone Alarm computer suite. It had everything to protect your computer & was great/easy to use. Now the product will not even work. The computer freezes, crashes etc. You have to pay for help, even though it is a new purchase, and they no longer have a phone # to reach them so you have to type everything, which is way too much trouble when you are having probs. I received a durogotory listing on my credit report for non-payment of an alledged $229 overdue for CDs from BMG from 2004. Who keeps checking or credit card records for five years? Why didn't BMG contact me at all during that period? When I wrote to BMG, they informed me that I have a $0 balance. Thus, the dispute with National Credit Solutions begins. My credit ratings with the three agencies range from 763 to 802. I just refinanced my mortgage at 4.375% which would be impossible if I had a history of late payments. About 6 months ago I was contacted by a company offering me a 1000 dollar shopping spree for subsribing to magazine at 14.95 per month.
