I've bought a philips 21 inch tv last year since from then i have a problem that is when i switch on the tv it starts normally but after 1 minute the sound suddenly stops,then if i leave the tv idle for about 1 minute or if i change the channel sound restarts with a full volume if i decrease the sound by 1 level then sound returns to normal position.the remedy i'm using is mute the sound then chamge the channel decrease the sound and then increase it. On November 16th, I ordered a movie "Centennial" It was supposed to be shipped that day & I was supposed to receive it by today or tomorrow. I have been a member of Pogo for 1 year. I recently won a prize and now Pogo is refusing to release it to me. They said that I was using an automated robot to play for me which is completely bogus. Bought a Philips 37" LCD TV from Best Buy on 9/28/07. Had to return the TV because it has a defective screen - a line of pixels were out - Best Buy took care of that because it was within their 30 day guarantee. On 11/24/2007 the audio went out on the TV. It will be sitting in the authorized Philips repair shops for weeks because Philips is notorious for not being prompt with part for their service centers - I have no recourse that I know of. I order a cd through our local music dealer to Amazon.com on OCtober the 15th and now its November the 28th and no disc just emails from Amazon.com saying it will be due some day and of corse it never comes. Everything else ordered from there after my order was placed took two weeks to arrive so why hasnt a simple Cd they said was in stock come?. I have had a gutsfull of their excuses and I cant do anything unless they give the music shop their money back. Rapid Cable sent notification of a price increase effective Dec 1st. This price increase represented a 55 percent increase (from $80 to $125). I did not accept this increase and called on Oct 30th to have my service disconnected. The scheduled date was November 16th. I had to make arrangements to be off from work that day. Purchased tickets thru Ticketmaster for comedy show "MoNique" - event scheduled for 10/27 at 8pm. By 8:35 p.m., show had still not started. We had arrived 7:40pm to be on time.
