Okay, so I am a now, former employee of Salt Lake Valley Protective Agency. I am posting this complaint because of their inability to keep funds in their accounts to properly pay their employees! I went to the branch of Mountain America Credit Union to cash my check, and it was rather swiftly declined due to there being NO money in their account at all! I was charged $79.98 after ordering a product that was only to be $4. I called the company to see about a refund but they did not even want to listen to my situation and just told me that it was not their problem. I am an AT&T retiree and I carry my mother as a class II dependent on my insurance and Caremark is the pharmarcy AT&T has chosen for drug coverage. Recently (1/1/09)Medicare signed my mother up for AARP Medicare RX plan, without our knowledge. A friend and I were injured in a fatal accident on April 18th. The next day we realized we needed medical attention and went to the center, where we were asked what was wrong, x-rayed, and received MRIs. The insurance policy of the party at fault took care of all of the bills except those from Wat. Radiological Services--which is a separate billing entity. Due to insufficient notification, BOTH of us missed the discrepency and are henceforth being pursued by WRS's collection agency, John Barry & Associates. Agency is worse than useless and handles hiring for most of the good jobs in my town. Always posting standing job orders to generate applications when no jobs exist, are never taking applications or even in the office at the start of the normal workday, deduct cost of drug testing, background checks, etc. from workers' first paychecks, make would-be workers reapply every six months to stay active.
