Supercuts-Regis Corp
Anonomyous December 18, 2008
I went into the Supercuts Arvada store on December 1 2008 to apply for a job. After filling out an application, the manager had taken me back to her office and proceeded to tell me about company benefits, policies, procedures, services rendered, ECT... after that she had proceeded to inform me I was to be hired to replace a worker who had left on maternity leave. Assuming that what she was telling me was a job offer, I had asked her when she was looking for me to begin work. She had told me that I could not start my first shift until I... read full review »

I HAVE ORDERED A DIET TEA ON A TRIAL BASIS WITH UNDERSTANDING THAT THE COMPANY WILL CHARGE ME SHIPPING AND HANDLING OF $4.95 only. When the first shipment came, I called them and canncelled their services and was assured that they will not charge me again. THEY LIED, THEY HAVE BEEN TAKING MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT, amount of $29.95 each month for the past few months. At the same note, the last two month they tried WITHDRAWING FUNDS from my account twice. I called, and called, and called, and called only to get their automated service. In having no... read full review »

ABC Ladies work out Express
TJ in Az December 18, 2008
I joined this ABC workout fitness center and after few monts I discontinued the service due to the poor quality of their facilities. However I am completely unable to terminate my contract. They are asking for an impossible set of documentation to cancel my membership and contract. Their customer service is horrible and they have no regard to the fact that I am not using the facility... Bromolite (aka Colon -ES)
egundrum December 18, 2008
Offer stated that I would receive a 30 day free trial and only have to pay for shipping $7.95. To avoid charges of $89.95 each month, you had to cancel within 30 days. I received the product and when i tried to cancel within the 30 days they tried to tell me I would be charged $49.95 cancellation fee. They tried to tell me that it was part of the terms and agreement. If I waited until after a 20 day period, they would waive the cancellation fee but I would be charged $89.95 for the "Free" 30 day trial. On the website it had stated it was a RISK FREE TRIAL - what a SCAM!! I will just have to dispute through my credit card. read full review »

Britesmile
sue strebe December 18, 2008
I went to Britesmile in Phoenix and had my teeth whitened. While I was there I purchased a gift certificate for another trip. Meanwhile, Britesmile closed their offices in Phx. and never notified me. I called to make an appointment this year and was forwarded to their company in Flordia. After many calls to Nicole, the customer Service Manager, she said that I needed to send in my gift certificate and they would refund my money. That was in August. I sent it in and have called several times always getting an excuse. Now, Nicole won't... read full review »

Snuggies
Mike Flasco December 18, 2008
Ordered two of these Snuggie blankets and two booklights. After a month, received the blankets but no booklights and nothing in the package: no invoice or other explanation of where the lights are or why I didn't recieve them. No way to get a person on the phone. They do not provide an email address for correspondence. Wonder why not? These blankets aren't worth the $$ -- I thought the booklights would make an acceptable deal, even if they are worth just a few dollars. I had reservations about ordering anything from this outfit. I should have gone with my firt impressions. read full review »

This company is a scam. They will tell you they are located in CA, USA. No other address. No phone number. The only way to contact them is by email. Their merchandise ships from China but you are billed from Europe. After ignoring my question on the authenticity of the boots I had purchased they finally responded and told me they sold me Deckers Uggs and they were an authorized dealer. I contacted Ugg and they informed this company was NOT an authorized dealer. The boots I received are fake. I left a bad review on their website and the next... read full review »

I bought a full lace wig from Dawn Enningham ([email protected]). SHe claimed it was 100% Indian Remi Human Hair. When I received the hair, it felt fake since I know what human hair feels like. I tested a small section to prove my point, and in fact the hair melted in heat. She is a fake, fraudulent seller and I am still in the process of getting my money back. GLL Leisure Centre - Greenwich Leisure Limited
wooddragon9 December 18, 2008
Complaint about the 2 week closure of the GLL leisure centres in Waltham Forest. I regularly attend Kelmscott Leisure Centres as it is within walking distance to my home. Staff have informed members that all centres within the Waltham Forest area are closing for 2 weeks over the holiday period to save money. This is completely unacceptable; I pay a monthly membership to keep up with my exercise routine and the company has decided they need to save money. They are not refunding any members 2 weeks money while the centres are closed. read full review »

City 2 City Van Lines, although trying to appear professional is anything but that. I was employed with them for just 1 week and to date they have still not paid me the wages owing to me for 34 hours of my time. The owners of the company are not only a liars; but users as well. Both men who claim to run the company use alias names when setting up their so called "free estimate" appointments. Seems that they always tack on extra dollars after they have gotten a potential customer to sign on with them to handle a move. In some case... read full review »

I answered and ad which stated I would receive a tooth whitening kit and tooth brush for $5.99. No mention was made, at least to my knowledge, that I would be charged an additional $88.97 for whatever. That amount of $88.97 was taken from my checking account without my permission. I notified the company and cancelled any further deductions and was told I should have contacted them 3 days earlier. They indicated it was too late to receive a refund. I will contact an attorney if I don't receive a refund by December 23. read full review »
