I bought two pairs of trousers from Newport, and had them shortened. The first pair had a run like pantyhose in the fabric after 1 wear. The second pair were shortened by at least two inches too much. When I took them back, the shop assistant refused to help, and we had to make four phone calls before the manager contacted us back. Beware. This company advertises through Amazon.com and bills your credit card and then ships the wrong item. They pulled this one twice on me already. They list an item in stock and bill and ship the wrong item. Takes a month to get a credit back on your card. I purchased an engagement ring from Gemoro and a loose diamond at Spence. Gemoro set my diamond and chipped it in the process - the value of the entire ring has decreased by approximately $12,000.00 as a result of the chip in the diamond caused by Gemoro during the setting process. Workers have fallen and they do not make an accident report and do not even acknowledge that one has fallen. They have meetings and they do not pay for that time. Last week I bought myself a pair of CLARKS "Jaen" black leather shoes. They form part of CLARKS' new autumn collection. As the shoe is closed above I expected it to be water-resistant. My wife is eligible for an employee discount from Verizon. She tried to go to the Verizon Store. She was told to call a number, then request a fax form, then fax the form back to verizon. Do you have any idea how annoying this procedure is? What if you don't have a fax machine at home? Is Verizon suggesting some one set up this big project on the job? The job they want to keep? We had purchased a few jewelery items from Bheema jewelers for a wedding, only to find out later that all the items were fraudulent. The gold bracelet was completely brittle and broke off, the ruby ear rings broke off and was not wearable at all. I went to Aspen Dental looking for an extra set of upper dentures. The main reason why I went there. The dentist told me that on my lower teeth I would need 2 teeth pulled.
