I went to visit the doctor because I had a a problem with my lower back. I was in pain and my left side was swollen. The nurse asked me if I had any other concerns. I cancelled my membership at the Yorba Linda Ladies Work Out Express, and followed all the National Fitness Center franchise requirements putting things in writing etc. After I sent my notice the club closed. I have been a member of Crunch Fitness for 4 years. This company was recently purchased by bally's fitness in the past 6 months in this time - i have been robbed TWO times. I requested a free sample of Actipril (on-line I think). Three days after I received the sample, I received a full size supply of the product. Since then, I have received full size supplies each month for three months more. There is no information on the product on paperwork on how to cancel the mailing of product or the draw on my account. Doctor tried to fix a tooth that was not fixable which had nerve damage and told him to pull the tooth...he convinced me to do a root canal, and crown. He then had to extract the tooth and still charged me for a full root canal $775 plus around $300 for the extraction. I told several people the story and my sister said he did that to her too! In August, I ordered, via the internet, one CD from Firebird Arts & Music, PO Box 30268, Portland, OR 97294 for $22.50. My VISA was double billed for this purchase, an 8/9 transaction posted on 8/10 and an 8/15 transaction posted on 8/16. Despite repeated emails and regular mail, the only response I have had was asking if I received 2 CDs. I emailed them "no" in November, and since the have had no response to my continued efforts to contact them. I had a horrible experience at La Spina Salon located in Mahopac, NY. My hair was ruined. I went in for a highlighting and they turned my hair a horrible mixture of yellow and reddish tones. I was buying a box of chocolate lollypops at the same price of a box already made up. The price went up to $.60 from $.55 when sold separately. This is a con operation. On 6th Oct 2006, they came to repair my treadmill, collected $185 and told me that they will come by to replace the part for which they collected the money. That was the last I heard from them. Phone calls are not returned. On threatening legal action they say that they have sent the part but cannot give any tracking details (saying that they have misplaced it). $185 is no big deal but just wanted to put this up so that no body else is cheated. read full review »

I put my prescription in on 12/14/06 in order to get 2006 rates on my insurance. Today is 1/9/07 and I still have not received it. I have had several people on the phone tell me it is in processing and it is on the way and I still am without my insulin. Because I have called so often Walgreen's has grown tired of my telephone calls and has put the fault on me. My insurance company will not do anything because they say Walgreen's is at fault.
