I got an email today stating that I owed on an old account I had with hostnine. The way they have their email set up is very misleading to those that are unaware of shady business practices such as these. Plenty of people pay this pricks for emails stating they are owed money. I have a cancelation notice, not that it matters. I thought that hosting was prepaid anyway? Regardless of the fact, after something has gone over 1 year, emailing a fake invoice stating that you CAN'T call to discuss charges and must only respond via email NOT EVEN CHAT is just proof that these people are in the SCAM business, not hosting. read full review »

Following a visit to the showroon to browse a designer pounced on us to arrange a home design visit. We were pressured into putting a 2k deposit down on a 7K kitchen that was not going to be installed for a year. I was called by Douglas Marketing and agreed to have a Kirby representative come into my home and do a carpet cleaning and wood floor buffing for free. This was to take about 45 minutes I was told. This is a scam! Nicole's Saving Advantage promises to send you $50 in gift cards for trying their discount services. You are charged $2.95 for the first month, then $9.95 for each month after that. They promise that after your trial month, you will receive your gift cards. After being a member for quite some time, and losing almost $23 to this company, I have yet to receive my promised gift cards. I have used this company quite a lot and have not had a problem—until this week. Recently, I ordered printing and mailing services for a 4.25” x 8.5” folded card, but did not know that cards this size would require extra postage. Make sure you purchase insurance if you return any item. I returned my order over two months ago and have still not received my refund. Every time I contact them they give me the run around. In the last week of august i called to get DSL set up well they said due to my credit they needed $50.00 for a deposit (i have wonderful credit) and they could not give me an answer of what your credit score needed to be in order to not have a deposit. After speaking with a representative i was informed I got this service in 02/09, I have no knowledge of this service and my yahoo log-on password had to be changed because someone hacked into my account. What a scam Holiday Inn Priority Club is. You must book with a qualifying rate (which was explained to me as no more than 30% discount off of RACK RATES), so if you book online and they offer a rate more than 30% off there Highest Rate you do not get points for your stay. Priority Club was rated #1 ? I don't understand how. Im not sure if any of the other hotel chains work like this but I think it is a scam. Why would you pay more, just to get points? How do I effectively fight an unfair collections claim? I have tried numerous times to cancel XM Radio. I have been using their service since 2005. I always renewed my yearly contract. I kept a credit card on file. In 2006 I bought 3 additional radios for family. In 2008 I choose to only renew my radio and cancelled the others. I ordered a pair of shoes from zoomkole.com October 9, 2009 and have yet to receive them. Here is a quote directly from their website "Once you pay the items successfully, please Do not worry, we will simultaneously receive your payment confirmation letter, we will automatically ship the order within 36 hours." We purchased 4" white oak select through www.flooringwarehousedirect.com. The lumber was milled by Taylor Lumber. The floor cupped and we hired a National Wood Flooring inspector whose analysis said the wood was over dried. Taylor's sales manager, who we understand is not a NWFA inspector. denied the claim. The inspector responded to Taylor citing NWFA guidelines. To date, neither Taylor or flooringwarehousedirect.com will uphold the warranty.
