Midnight Sun and cruise is very misleading in their advertisements. They have this sun club for $18.88 a month. And they originally take out $40.00 then they force you to make a cancellation request by mail. They give you no number where they can be reached and continue to deduct money from your account. Once you send in your cancellation notice they won't cancel until a minimum of TWO automatic payments are deducted. So no matter how long you want to be a part of this membership you have to for three months which in the end is over $80.00. I ordered a bouquet of flowers for delivery to my mother in time for easter on tesco.co.uk . I selected her address on the pull down menu of addresses. After I had input the order information, but before confirming the order, I decided to change the text to be printed on the greetings card which was to be attached to the delivered package. This meant going back a screen. I made the amendment and then confirmed the order. After the delivery I attempted to assemble the item, but found it impossible to attach the plastic handle to the lid, and there were no instructions in the accompanying booklet explaining how to achieve this. After several further attempts I found that the handle broke. A year ago a place called Allied Industries (a collection agency) began calling me and very rudely stating that we are deadbeats and own a long distance bill to the phone company ( SBC which is now AT & T). I have been using home delivery from Vons-Safeway online home shopping for 2 years. Most orders have some problems but the customer service representatives one has to deal with are absolutely HORRIBLE. The customer service representatives leave customers on hold for 15 or more minutes just waiting for them to answer and then they are rude... if your order has arrived melted they argue that the trucks are refrigerated... even when the ice cream is melting through the box and the driver is covered in sweat. I ordered a necklace on October for a Christmas present and I never received after I. E-mailed them with no reply I called and was told it would be Feb. Before I could get it so I asked for a refund and I did received the refund several weeks later. I will not order anything else from this company and would advise other people to not expect to receive other items too fast that they order from this company. They has given us untold grief after they literally "screwed" up a kitchen refacing job which we did not discover until we moved a chair and attempted to move a cabinet in the living room which as the result of their carelessness was attached to the living room wall. To date my husband and I have received over 15 - 20 phone calls from this company within a four-month period. On each and every call placed to our home we have requested that this company remove us from their list and not to contact us again. The workers have been rude and offensive when these requests have been made. I do not know how to stop this company and no one seems to know a phone number or address for this company. We had Greystone come do our patio which turned out fine. The problem was when a minor issue came up with the completion of the job I my calls were not returned for a month. When I finally called back for the 4th time I spoke to an employee who was very rude and dismissive and said I had only called to "tear her a new one" this was just silly as I had not been rude or discourteous. I ordered, on-line, a Steinhausen Watch, costing $290.00 last year, for my husband's birthday. The watch has never worked right. Returned it and was sent a new one. It does not work either. The complicated instructions were followed. I am sending this one back, again, with instruction to set it up, time, date, month, etc., in order to assure it is working probably before returned. Informed that this was a Website design service which would bring in extra work - rubbish. The Website is no better than free build your own website and the listing on various directories does not bring our name up as the first on Google or any other search engine. Lies but once they have your bank details you are lost. Trying to complain - no-one answers yopur letters or your phone messages - there is never anyone available to discuss the matter. No real problems as yet, but today I tried to set up an email account only to find I needed to contact my 'provider', 3G, to find out my server details. Went to go to print out the rebates and they were good only from 3/19/09 to 4/24/09. I am a full time student in college for nursing and I work at least 32 hours a week and this really stinks because if they really wanted to get the reward to you they would just mail it not set it up online so you loose it because you are to busy to check this out.
