They had registered my domain name with DotRegistrar. My hosting is elsewhere. Registration renewal was due january 8th. To be on the save side, I paid december 20th manually for domain renewal. My wife made the mistake of taking her car to Pep Boys at 215 E. Katella in Orange, California to have her brakes checked. She received no call from them regarding the repair costs so when she went to get the car at the end of the day it had new brakes front and rear and two new Futura GLS 185-65R14 tires. Knowing she had gotten screwed and having failed to consult me first she just paid the $500+ dollars and didn't mention the incident. I began this annuity last year, aware that we were and remain in a period of rising interest rates. The introductory rate was 4.75%, a very good rate, although not excessive. Now Genworth seems to be low-balling the interest rate for 2006, perhaps to make up for the introductory rate. As far as I can see, this is an inferior rate that is not a market rate and not a competitive rate for the term and the substantial amount of money I have invested. Some of the statements in this complaint are misleading. Such as the one about the steel not being setback correctly. In fact the customers survey was incorrect. The survey was incorrect when initially presented to us with respect to the location of the fence. The customer even had it changed to reflect a different location. Already had FiOS Internet for nine months and ordered the telephone service. Took 40 minutes on the phone to process the order and the representative provided an installation date of 4/22 from 8-12. Took the morning off from work and at 1130 I called and was told the scheduled installation date was 5/1. Verizon had my existing telephone number, cell number and Verizon.net e-mail address but never called to inform me of the new installation date. I asked the representative to cancel my order. i am going over my bank account for the last few months and on 2/18/09 my account is showing a charge for $39.73 twice and i have no idea what this website even is, and i have a feeling that it has led to some other charges for porno sites that i have never visited. On April 22nd, 2009 I received a call from a telemarketer "offering" me free and "better" internet service - a 3 month trial. This is at least the eighth call I have had from them within the past 2 months, and at least the third time I have asked them to remove me from their call list. Ordered a 30-day sample of Natra Pure on the Internet. About a week later I received a 7-day sample of a Power Flush 500 with no paperwork or return label. Four years ago I had a home built by Lexington Builders. The plumbing contractor on the job was Lomar Trenching. The permit was pulled under Lexington’s contractor’s license number 007585. About three weeks ago I was having problems with my septic tank backing up, etc. I had a septic company come out and check it out. They also automatically enroll you in their Autoship program which you can NOT cancel before being billed over $100. Yes, I read the terms and conditions, and it’s worded just oddly enough that I thought I could cancel. I see what they’re saying now, but the FTC has told me that it is indeed worded badly and that they will investigate if other people have a similar complaint. I purchased a Kenmore 27 in Laundry Center. I was told that the delivery fee would be refunded via a rebate. The sales person completed the rebate paperwork himself, placed it in a Sears’ envelope, and said that he would mail it himself. While on board the cruise ship “Norwegian Spirit”, of Norwegian Cruise Lines, my wife purchased the subject item for me as a surprise gift. On March 12, as we were disembarking, she gave me the gift. When we returned to our home, I found the product damage (the battery cover was broken), and the instruction booklet was missing. On closer examination, it appeared that the item had been previously purchased and had been returned to the gift shop on board the ship. Do not do business with Infinity Dish. I should have known better not to deal with them from the beginning. I was hung up on twice. I have been with Dish Network since Nov of '08. And I just recently got my 'gift' of a $300 gas card, or should I say redemption certificate with a price tag on its head. I received a letter via US Mail today for a government grant of $25K that has been approved for release to me. When I called the number listed, it was a recorded message wanting me to buy a kit that will show me how to access government grants. These people have no concern whatsoever for their consumers. I have a friend who, after talking me into buying a Magellan GPS, experienced problems with his unit. He has tried for the last two days to get help from this company to no avail. This contact was by phone and e-mail. The phone calls were several, the last of which I observed.
