Hello, I had baught the Tata Indicomm USB modem, but the internet speed is pathetic. Moreover the service is pathetic. I had complained n number of times but no satisfactory resolution. Moreover, my connection was disconnected, and I was asked to pay 1000+ rupees, though my bill was merely 350. After I paid my bill, I requested to connect my service, but still it is not connected. Next bill had already come, which is again 250 only, I am not sure why they were asking 1000 bugs. I have been complaining about the batery of the instrument supplied to me but i am not getting the problem solved. The staff of ahmedabad office agtreed that the batery was faulty and i was given assurance that they will change the batery however after complaining for more than three time i did not get the problem solved. Since the change of ownership from Hucth to Vodaphone, things have fallen flat for Vodaphone customers. I get to hear this from all my friends who were brand loyal to Hutch. Its very hard to understand, how come the same guys with Hutch did a better job and not with Vodaphone. I guess it has to do something with the aptitude you enter a market. I recently returned an item with the receipt. I asked for store credit but they told me it had been over 90 days and I couldn't return it. It was not a seasonal item and they carry it all the time. I am a person who keeps all receipts. This tells me that I would have been better off to take it in without a receipt. At least I could have gotten my store credit. I bought the American Telecom Cordless phone from office depot. I submitted the rebate forms in time. I have called the rebate company number of times. They come up with one excuse or another. On 8/14/07 I called Earthlink to cancel my e-mail account with them. I spoke to someone there who took my information and he gave me a confirmation # of 13069074. In Sept. of 07 I received a bill from Bill Me Later of $21.00. I mailed a denial of payment along with my confirmation number. In November I received a letter stating that Earthlink had denied that I ever canceled. I was told that I must pay the bill. I had called a friend, who had a caller tune. After disconnecting the line I received a msg from 56789 informing me that my caller tune has been activated. I immediately called the customer care of Vodafone, saying I don't want the caller tune and I've not requested for it. This is a scam! Flowers arrived an hour late and looked like they had recycled them from a previous funeral service then handed off to a small child to arrange! 3 arrangements were ordered. None of it was as advertised and horribly overpriced. Flowers were wilted and mismatched. They arrived as the service was about to begin so no chance to do anything. They would not answer their phone for hours and kept switching me to the fax machine!
