There is no hospitality and staff also behaves rudely like their boss. 16th Jan 2011, I took off my wedding ring to wash my face before rushing off to the airport (LAX) and upon reaching the airport, found my ring missing. I called Portofino Anaheim immediately and cried for help. But the ring has gone missing. I'm very sure the chamber maid took it since she was already outside the door when we left. However, they denied everything. I wouldn't care less if it was a normal ring, but this was my wedding ring. The hotel advertise ammedities that were not available, they advertise pool service, suana, computer, fitness room and wireless service which all were out of order. The hotel did not want to offer a discount on the stay or money back. Waste of money, waste of time, please do not invest in something you will never (and can never) take advantage of. There are only 54 resorts (20 all in Florida) and they are only located about 20 states, not including popular California, New Mexico, Utah, Washington, Illinois, Colorado, and many others. $800 cruise deposit was made but only $200 was sent to the cruise line. Agent, Dianne Tuttle, cancelled and rescheduled the cruise four times without my knowledge. The trip, according to the cruise line, is now cancelled but I have not received the refund. I learned about the mishandling of the deposit money after talking directly with the cruise line. Travelling from a P&O Cruise on Oceana I had 2 pieces of airplane hold baggage held in security at Acapluco, 2 other families also had 2 pieces of baggage each, all had been interfered with and some with articles stolen. 2 cases had locks removed and one had the front pocket opened and slit with a knife to remove items from the main internal compartment. This company promised me a vacation for Disneyland and Las Vegas in return of $200.00. They stated they made a mistake on my first attempt to go to Disney Land and made Reservations for 2 months later. We made reservations again and asked for more money. Buyer Beware! They put a $265 hold on my credit card for 2 weeks for a 1 night stay. The room was prepaid, but they asked for my credit card in case there were incidentals. They did not inform me of the amount that they put on hold. I found out when I went to the next hotel (Aria Hotel and Resort) to check in and my card was declined to cover their incidentals. We had an agreement to rent this vacation rental and forms had been filled out and payment pending. Suddenly, the owner (Rob) said he had rented to someone else. We had turned down other properties to rent this home and an agreement had been made. He snuck in another renter without telling us and left us high and dry. I have an account with them and they never fulfilled it. It was in October of 2010 when I also gave them an additional two year membership due and they took it knowing that they were not going to keep their end of our contact. I paid a lot of money for this membership to travel on cruises and have timeshares to be availed to me and now the phone numbers that I have for them are all disconnected. I do not know when they closed down or if they are operating under a new name. I do plan to report this to the Better Business Bureau. I made an online booking with Wonderland hotels on 24 May 2010. I cancelled the reservation the following day on 25 May 2010 and was waiting for my refund. They confirmed my cancellation and refund immediately and said they would refund within 7 days.
